This is my second time doing a paint and sip but first time for my boyfriend and what a fun experience it was as a couple. You really learn new things about your significant other during this activity. We choose to paint the "Moonlit Seas". What I love about Muse is the atmosphere the staff always brings. I myself, as I'm sure others are as well, am always nervous about how my painting will come out. I would like for it to look like the original but I am no artist! The staff always knows how to break the ice and get our artistic side rolling. The drinks do definitely help tho!! Cookie was our teacher for this class and she was amazing!!! She had me laughing and feeling pretty confident about my artwork. We tried our best and I think me and my boyfriend did pretty well! What a beautiful keepsake memory. My friend and I came on a Wednesday night for Paint Your Pet, apparently one of the hardest classes. Our instructor, Crystal, was great at keeping us engaged and giving feedback. There were 2 or 3 other instructors helping with food and painting assistance during the 10ish person class. The three-hour class goes quickly! We used a lightbox for this specific class, which is not something I have used before. It's nice to be able to personalize your painting. I do agree that this class was one of the hardest classes in that there's a bit of interpretation you must make around different shades of your pet, but the instructors do try to break it down into pieces. The space is vibrant and feels like such a fun space. If it's a special event or day for you, you'll go home with an extra special treat. The food menu definitely skews a bit toward a bar food menu. That being said, the boneless wings were actually pretty satisfying and a large portion. Note that gift cards can only be used to book classes, not for food or drinks. This experience has gone from good to horrible. I was very excited to come in through the door before 6:30 and get my drink and food intake. We patiently waited for people to roll in so we can start our session. With two bottles down and a White Claw, my friend and I came to this establishment ready to paint and have fun on a Friday night. It was a couples night, we're having a good time. We were socializing amongst people., We are lighting up the place with our humor and mingling with other guest while painting. During intermission, a staff member proceeded to state that we are "being too loud and if we could keep it down". However, there are people within the establishment being louder than us in a private session right next-door. There were also others enjoying themselves and mingling with other guest. I couldn't help but notice that the individuals who were not told "you are being too loud" were not dark skin, nor had texture to their hair. Last I check my money was as green as their. Never in my life have been felt to feel different or less than. This establishment should have "whites only" on their door. Obviously being something other than white is not welcomed here. Save your money and go else where. read more

Good location, and nice size spot. I came here for a private party and I really liked how there was a private room where we could cater our own food. I've been to a few paint nights and always have a good experience, however, the artist who was leading our group was a little all over the place. Would start with one section of the painting and then change his mind and say "wait, do you want to paint the bridge instead? Let's do that and come back to the water after". And then towards the end we were so rushed that he actually stopped telling us how to paint certain areas and said "you can really do whatever you like best". Then we were rushed out of the room with wet paintings. I don't know if they had another party after us or what, but it ruined the entire event in my opinion. I wouldn't let my experience of the specific artist effect me coming back to this location however. It may have been that he was new and training still. read more

When my family & I arrived here on Saturday August 31, it was truly magical. To think that a small location that my wife found online would have made my children's weekend. Chloe (I believe was her name with the beautiful green hair) greeted us & made the experience. My oldest son, 14, has been hating all his projects & work, over evaluating every element. While partied with Dan, the experience left him so happy with his painting. Dan as the main artist took his time & really brought energy into the location that really created a flow & had the entire gallery interacting. My wife & I found the experience extremely therapeutic. I'll be the first to say that I'm not the best artist, so when one of my friends suggested we do a paint night at Muse I was like ehhhhhhh. However, I'm open to new things so I was on board. Located on the second floor of Ridge Hill, the Muse's decor is typical of an art studio - paint everywhere, easels, brushes, etc. There's a large bar to the right and tables with easels scattered throughout the studio. When booking, you'll see what picture you'll be painting. The price was right - for $45 we got a 2.5 hour session which included all the paint and supplies plus an instructor who walked us through the painting. The instructor was great - she was great artist, super witty, and really added to the session. As the name suggests, they serve alcohol - as well as small plates and desserts. My friends and I shared the brownie a la mode which was good, but there are no real tables for the food so you have to put it on the table where your easel is. It makes it a little clumsy, so I'm not sure I would get food the next time. Overall, I had a great time - being with friends was great, and I got to explore my artistic side a little. This was a fun, but expensive, experience! The teacher, Sol, was incredibly engaging and entertaining. It's too bad there was no drink included with the price of this experience. The drinks were expensive. I paid $16 for a plastic cup of wine & a can of beer. We enjoyed painting, but there wasn't too much down time to just relax with the other friends in our group. Our paintings came out great despite little to no experience painting. Great for a date, family or with kids. The staff is super sweet, friendly and good-natured. I have no artistic talent whatsoever and they humored me and helped my disaster of a paint job into something that looked semi-decent. Our instructor, Erica, was really patient with all of us. $45 for 2.5 hours & all the supplies necessary to complete your painting. The wine they had for purchase was pretty good. I can't remember the name of it. *slaps forehead* $7 a glass or $28(?) for a bottle. You're better off getting a bottle. I wish it was BYOB, though. There's finger foods and desserts available for purchase. I recommend not coming here hungry because although the food was tasty, it will not fill you up. Beautiful place with nice atmosphere but as soon as we came in they said "Did you sign up for the class? Hang you coat in the hallway and go look for your name" They didn't greet us warmly it felt a little cold. No smile nothing. I expected a Hello or a warmer welcome. Also trough out the session I felt nobody was there to help. Only once somebody came up to us to ask if we wanted more paint. I felt that the group was too large and it lacked assistance and advice. Especially for the money we paid. After spending 105$ nobody even came by to give a good job or look at the paintings from the people. Came here on a date night, and it was the first time I ever did a paint-n-sip. It was kinda hard but really fun! The instructors were great, I think it was Tabitha and Amanda that night. The drinks were good, the food was okay and pretty pricey. It is a bit of a long process getting to the final product, and if you don't have a big dinner beforehand, you are definitely going to be ordering food and drinks. This place gets three stars because it was fun, relaxing, and we only paid $29 each. DO NOT ORDER FOOD HERE. It is awful. So awful. The $6 chips and "fresh" salsa are multi-grain tortilla chips with salsa from a jar. That would not have been so bad if the exact chips and salsa cost less than $6 for both in the store. The mac and cheese was literally Kraft mac and cheese with extra cheddar melted in and some potato chip on the side. Chicken parm was nearly raw and obviously from a jar. We did not finish it. I would have loved to book my party here, but you can't call the party planner! I was told she will "email you within 24 hours" (which she did...with general information and pricing). But when I called to talk to her, the male who answered the phone wouldn't put me through to ask about dates. She "will contact you". How can I send out invitations without knowing if the date is available? I asked him if she was off that day and he said "no, she's here". I said, 'so, you're telling me that I can't talk to her even though she's there"? "She will contact you." Talk about poor customer service! Guess they don't need my money.
