Honest Art is fantastic, friendly and an amazing program for the kids. They have a van service which picks up the kids directly from the CRS school, rain, snow, and floods. While other after school programs close, they stay open because they truly care about the needs of the parents. Even when CRS school gives only 30 minute notice of school closure, leaving parents scrambling, they called me and provided much needed comfort that they'll pick up the kids early for us. The pottery and candles are great! This is by far the biggest and best pottery selection that I have seen! We used to go all the way out to the Pottery Factory, but its a hike, and their selection is nowhere near as good. The staff at Honest Art are also super nice. After our 2nd visit, my son insisted we host his party here. We were amazed at the level of service... they went out and picked up a fruit tray for us, as well as going all the way to Armonk to get our cake - and they did it all for FREE!! Can't really say enough about the team here.. they made sure this party was stress free for us! This review is my 'thank you' for an amazing day. read more

The space is amazing. Bright, colorful, and well designed. The pottery space is amazing. Signed my kids up for their camp sessions and it was the best decision ever. The instructors are extremely talented at working with kids and the artwork they come home with looks fantastic. Recommended this business to a co-worker and she held her daughter's birthday party there. Amazing day for all the invited kids. My daughters, Olivia and Julia attended the Honest Art after school program from October 2022 through June 2023. We were dissatisfied with the quality of the art program at One River Art School in nearby Hartsdale (running out of supplies, incomplete artwork, uninspired projects and absentee teachers), and when we discovered the Honest Art program right here in our backyard in Ardsley, we decided to give it a try. The economics of the after school program also made it possible to no longer need an afterschool babysitter, so the savings were significant. Honest Art also offers bus pickup from the Concord Road school for the after school program, which was a HUGE help along with homework help for the first hour. In addition to the after school program, enrolling in that program gives you access to unlimited classes offered on the weekends as well. Overall, I saw my daughters' love for art grow exponentially over the past year. They learned new techniques and are applying them outside of the art school, which to me is the most impressive feat of all. I'll wake up on the weekends to come downstairs to my daughters doing drawings, paintings, mixed media or art sculptures from variations of techniques they learned at Honest Art. They offer a variety of inspired projects - they won't do the same one twice from slime art to fashion design, mixed media to acrylic painting. We have more art than we know what to do with, but it's all so amazing! In my opinion, the biggest reason for Honest Art's success its it's people. Gabe, the owner, does a great job of hiring the top talent in the area. These instructors are excellent with children and I've seen them display nothing but love, care, respect and attention given to my daughters. In turn, my daughters are modeling the behavior and values they are seeing displayed by the instructors at the school. It is a safe, warm and loving environment that I will be sending my daughters back to for years to come. read more

I've had 2 parties for my 3 and 6 year old kids hosted at Honest Art. For my 4 year old, we had Raya themed party that was immersive and fun for all. We had this party in the studio and it was decorated with a dragon theme that brought the activities to life. Kids had a great time and the parents enjoyed themselves as there was plenty of space for them to interact with one another (especially when it was cold out). As for my 6 year old, they put together an art project based on my kid's favorite artist (Basquiat). Everyone had an amazing time and enjoyed the Lite-Brite wall (a huge plus to keep the kiddos entertained). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Honest Art to everyone who's looking for something experiential for the kids. Also, it's certainly not easy to keep kids entertained and focused. The team at Honest Art really knows how to engage with children, which is a huge plus. read more

While the entire NYC was under pouring rain, I've got the last minute email from our son's elementary school that they would dismiss kids early due to flooding. I panicked because it would take an hour to drive from my work to the school. I started driving frantically & got a phone call from Honest Art that they would pick up our son from school. I've also heard Gabe said that they got our daughter too in the back of the phone call. I couldn't believe how Honest Art had our backs even all the other after school canceled their programs! I returned to my work & told my supervisors how awesome our after school program has been. I am pretty sure I was not the only parent who deeply appreciated Honest Art! A friend really enjoys painting so I joined her for an evening class at Honest Art. There were two instructors and plenty of supplies. The instructors provided very little information on techniques to help a "newbie" and often stood in front of their sample painting so you couldn't even see how she was applying the paint. We love Honest Art. My friends and I have taken the adult classes which are so much fun and we made great pieces thanks to the instructors. It's really relaxing and suited my level (beginner) and my friends who have more experience. Also, the kids really love it. We have from ages 18 months and up.
