Took my mom painting for her birthday! We had came here before and were happy with the outcome of the first time being here. This experience was a little more tougher to paint but we had an amazing time as usual here! The atmosphere is artistic and clean! Love the small bar they have for snack and such! The lemonade was a bit too sweet for my taste but it was good! The chips and guacamole were pretty good as well. Overall being here is fun and is well worth it! The instructors are so helpful and take their time in teaching you and helping you with your painting if you need it. Will be back again soon!

Thoroughly enjoyed an evening out - well-priced, well-instructed, well-supplied... everything from food and drinks to canvas and paints - just add friends and fun! Highly recommend. The place is accessible, clean, and welcoming.

The pandemic has brought out my artistic side. I draw and paint more than ever. So when I saw online their classes, i signed up for the Starry Eiffel tower. Their website has a lot of classes with a photo of what painting the class will be doing. The price at first was $39. The day of the class price dropped to $25. I suggest getting their early like 30 minutes. To unwind, get some bites etc. I loved that they allowed me to bring in my poke bowl. They do offer wine , but I was already fueling up on water. The place is spacious and has a cute set up. Marjan was our instructor and was great. She explained things slowly and encouraged us every step of the way. I thought this would be a fast art class , but no. It took 2 hours. No rush. Im definitely coming back, and this place is a great idea for a date night. Located near Fantasticks ice cream and BGR.

I had a really good time at my first paint party. My party of nine were seated near each other at two tables, everything was set up for our painting experience, and we didn't have to do any clean up at the end! I'm giving four stars over five because for all that the instructor was energetic, descriptive, and obviously talented, I couldn't see her painting. The painting class set up each reserved party before we got there. We were placed in a corner. I had expected the instructor to turn her easel or painting to us frequently so we could all see what she was describing. She did that a little, but I often had to stand up and walk ten feet away to follow along. Many in my party struggled and our birthday girl called out to the instructor for some clarifications. Again, a good instructor, but the room had corners and mostly, I was watching the inteuctor's back. I would do it again, but request to be placed in a better location in the studio. The food was and the drinks were fine (not gourmet or anything, but solid enough nibbles for sharing and libations for drinking). My painting came out okay, and I liked mixing acrylic colors and using different brushes.

I haven't been to Muse in years and we both super enjoyed our evening! The only downside was the kitchen was closed due to the cook having an emergency but that's totally fine, we enjoyed the chips + dip and the limonata punch that we shared! They made it really easy to make art of our beloved pup and I lol forward to hanging them up in our house!

My husband and I had a date night here recently and had Joe as our artist. His laugh/giggle made my night! Fast forward and I later saw his art for sale and he's very talented. The canvas were organized when we arrived with our names displayed at our seats. The explanation of how things worked was thorough and we really enjoyed ourselves. My husband had zero painting experience and easily followed along. My only criticism was the amount of time we had for breaks. It made the painting go longer than it had to, but I also completely understand that not everyone moved as fast as we did. All and all a great experience. Would recommend to others!

We were here for my niece's birthday party. I was impressed the moment we walked in and had to pause to soak it all in. The place was full of dazzling art work; and the vast array of easels alone would be enough to impress. The ambiance felt so out of ordinary and artsy, certainly very conducive to "musing"! The big public painting area is at the front, with 2 smaller private painting rooms adjacent to it. The rooms are partitioned using glass panels, so the entire place felt very big and open. In the back is the bar that serves wine and beer which obviously we did not get to utilize for the birthday party. It's been decades since I painted, but that's not an issue at all because we were given all kinds of help. The subject was already chosen by my niece and we were provided step by step group instructions from start to finish. There's also optional LED light ($5 fee) behind the canvas to help project the outline of the intended painting, There were multiple breaks during the session to allow for the paint to dry before applying another layer. We used these breaks to celebrate my niece's birthday party with food, drink and cake. BTW, it appeared it was not part of the deal for Muse Paintbar to orchestrate birthday parties, but the place does provide a table where we can place the food and drink. I could also observe that the instructor did not factor in the birthday festivities in his plan. But that wasn't an issue at all, he simply extended the break so we could finish our food. All in all, it was a very refreshing and enjoyable outside-of-the-box experience for me. It was my first time ever with acrylic paint. Everyone had a great time, and each brought home a very personalized souvenir!!

I decided to take my daughter on a little outing to do something fun. She decided she wanted to go painting so, I thought this would be a great idea. We arrived on a Wednesday evening and were greeting by our painting instructor. She was a very nice young lady who mentioned she was saving up to by her girlfriend a wedding ring! But we were advised of the room we were going to be paiting in and shown to our designated area. At this time, there were an optional mask mandate, but we kept ours on. We were in a room with bout 10 other couples. Before we got started, we ordered a couple of appetizers, truffle french fries with siracha ketchup and mozzarella sticks and a bottle of Sprite. To me the food was a bit pricey. So I advised the kiddo, this is just a snack, not dinner! Our food didn't take very long to arrive, but we both enjoyed our small bites! Our instructor began the class and we were off to to the races. I loved how energetic she was and how she would assist whenever you needed it. She was very helpful in describing how to make certain shapes and to help with your painting to come out well! You are allowed to deviate from the original painting as far as color choices as well. There are blow dryers to assist with drying the paintings fast to move on to next steps. Overall, this was a wonderful experience for myself and the kid! She enjoyed herself and asked to go back. I had so much fun, I would like to do this with my girlfriends as well as my "friend." Great date night option or even fun event for family and friends. And what better than to take home a piece of art to show for it. This was a fun experience!!

Came here on a date night with spouse. The class started over 30 minutes late, and the kitchen was closed, so we were starving from 7pm-10pm. We had a babysitter, so we had to leave at 9:45pm, *before* the class ended. Others customers also left before it ended. Our paintings are so ugly, I wouldn't hang them in my bathroom. The teacher was good, funny sense of humor and personable. The stools are very uncomfortable, after 2 1/2 hours they become painful. One customer went rogue and painted a peace sign in the first 5 minutes then just hung out with her friends. It was very hard to hear the teacher as her microphone was broke. There's music playing which doesn't help you hear instructions. Someone asked the teacher to turn off the music and the teacher was offended and made a comment about the awkward silence, and turned it back on. Someone reached out to me regarding my concerns and offered a $10 voucher towards our next visit, but since this barely covers the cost of 1 drink, I won't be using it. Overall- it was a fun thing to try, but I won't be returning. Pictures show our $90 paintings

The very nice staff squeezed us in at a table in the back. After we sat, we had the difficult problem of picking what to paint! They do a bunch of stuff here- mosaics, sign painting, and of course pottery. They have tons and tons of items! We wanted to paint practical things but there are so many cute options- salt and pepper shakers, a disco ball cookie jar, Pokémon planters! But we did pick plates and bowls that we knew we would use frequently. Once we picked out what to paint, the staff explained the basics to us. We asked them for help a few times with different techniques, and their guidance made a huge difference! They can show you how to use stamps, silkscreens, and other techniques. They were super kind and patient too, even on such a busy day. Our results were really great! We'll be happy to pick them up in a week when they're ready. One last note- they offer free popcorn while you paint!

There were prizes being given out each hour to help celebrate the 22nd anniversary. We had been there for about 20 minutes and no one came by to give us a raffle ticket. So, I went up to ask about it and I was told they would be over soon. Well, they never made it over and the first round of prizes went by with my granddaughters not having their tickets in the basket. We did get in the second raffle drawing, but I was disappointed with the way it was handled. The Amazing Art Studio still has the best ceramics pieces to choose from. They also have a wide variety of paints to choose from. Unfortunately, it was so crowded and not all of the paint colors were available. Luckily, through the kindness of others, tables shared paints. There was also a little mix up with my reservation. I called and asked for an earlier time, since the girl's weren't in school that day. The owner told me to send her an email and she would take care of it. When, we got there she had not changed the time and I had to share with her the email I sent. They did work us in at a table in the studio. I had put a $30 dollar deposit for the event. We have been to The Amazing Art Studio about 9 times. We always had great service. The paint selection has always been plentiful. I just think they were not prepared for the amount of people at this special event. I did deduct one star for the reasons stated above. We will definitely go back and work on other ceramics pieces. I may have second thoughts about attending special events. The art pieces themselves came out great. My granddaughter's did such a great job and they enjoy it so very much.

Eventually she decided that she wanted to apply to attend a competitive arts-oriented high school. The school required that a portfolio be submitted as part of the application process, with several required pictures - a landscape, a portrait, an animal, etc. My daughter's current school was supportive, but not focused on producing a structured portfolio. And we needed to have everything ready in under two months! I found Anatol through searching Yelp and the web, and he has been amazing. He supplied the instruction, the discipline, and the structure that my daughter needed. First, he helped my daughter focus her sketching ability. Then he helped her expand to colored pencils and water-color work. All of these she used to produce the required portfolio artworks. He also helped us confirm which of her preexisting works should be included in the rest of the portfolio. Basically, he helped her cover a year's worth of art instruction in a two-month period. (There were many lessons, but no tears!) I am glad to say that my daughter ended up being accepted into the high school program, something that seemed unlikely before we started with Mr. Woolf. However, what makes me happiest is that my daughter was able to develop her talent with Anatol, who was able to balance her own artistic interests with the needs of the portfolio and the expectations of formal artistic training. He helped her develop what she was already doing and teach her new techniques as well. (My daughter also read this review and says she agrees with it!)

This was a pretty fun outing -- with a surprising number of budding artists in our group. Credit must be given to the 2 owners for making the education part fun, informative, and interesting. The first 30 minutes is a presentation of how to handle the glass, break it, shape it, stack it, etc. Each person starts with a clean slate. There are loads of different types of supplies -- very thin shards, speckles of glass, all colors and then tools to shape your design. From an uneasy feeling that we were going to fail, the intro gave us the confidence to produce our masterpieces. You will not take home your masterpiece that evening. It has to melt and be shaped, so expect some days to pass and a return trip to pick up your item. The teacher, Missy, was very thorough in her initial explanation of steps to complete the project and walked around to make sure to answer questions or give guidance. The good part was that with this particular project (not the case with others), we walked away with our trivet and didn't have to come back to pick anything up, which was a relief since it's not close to my house (while it was totally worth it for the 3 hour class, might not have been fun to drive all the way back another day just to pick something up). This was a fun activity to do with a friend or on your own and would definitely recommend it.
