The company was supposed to arrive 45 to 90 minutes after they arrived, when they didn't arrive we called them and they said that they would arrive in at least 1 hour and when we said we'd already been waiting over 2 hours they threatened to cancel us and eventually did, we had to wait for 2 more hours to get another towing service to come get us and drive us for us to get our replacement car read more

They kept me waiting for 4 hours on an AAA tow call, said they called three times to reach me (they called twice within a minute), and when I expressed outrage at their cavalier attitude said "well, we just won't help you - I don't like the way you talk to us" and then lectured me on how to treat service people (which evidently includes those who are untruthful and incompetent). Arrogance and lack of service seems to be their business practice. How they manage to stay in business is a mystery. Avoid at all costs. read more

Best towing experience I've had. Everything went fast and smooth. The driver, Brandon, was fantastic - personable, friendly, fast, and thorough. Did a great job ensuring the car was safe, as it sits lower than most. The truck was newer, clean and in good shape. He arrived within 30 minutes of being dispatched by my insurance. I had a Traveler's claim for my car to be towed to a shop and Murray's was assigned to the claim. The truck finally arrives two hours later than they said it would. The driver had an arrogant attitude from the moment he got out of the truck, then proceeds to tell me he can't tow my car because it's sitting too low. My car had a flat, so ya, that's kind of what happens, but it was clear he just didn't want to be bothered to do his job. As he leaves, he tells me I should take my car to a salvage yard...I guess it wasn't up to his standards. What a creep. read more

I wish there were negative stars as this place does not even deserve 1 star! This place and the "business" they run is a complete SCAM. Stay as far away as possible from them. They will tow your car to this place without your permission and consent and they will not even let you get near your car to get your house keys, keychain, glasses, or any necessary personal items. They will act like bulldogs to scare you but don't be scared of these cowards. They are in the business of milking money from people or insurances by locking their vehicles without their consent and charge $40/day. If you are in a car accident, make sure you know where your car is being towed and at least make sure it is not this place! read more

Based on what I experienced yesterday, no way would I trust this service provider!! On my way to work after the snow/ice storm with icy road conditions and a limited speed limit on highways as well as thruway closed to trucks, I'm on West Henrietta Road, approximately 9:20 am, and literally in my rearview mirror I see a headlight of a truck practically touching my bumper. He angrily passes me almost taking my bumper off on the passenger side. Almost side swiping me to pass the car in the right lane, I see a driver looking at his cell phone on the wheel TEXTING not even looking as he, I assume is on his way back to the station! Seriously?!?! Any empty flatbed tow truck on severely icy road conditions? Imagine if your vehicle were being towed so carelessly!!! read more

Shady. I will never use them. We traded in my old car just over a year ago to a local dealership. Car went to the auction as a parts car and could not legally be put on the road anymore. The moron who bought it threw plates on it, got pulled over and had it towed because it couldn't legally be on the road. This was months after we traded it in. Murray's ends up trying to bill us because we were the last registered owners. My wife calls and they lie to us saying the the DMV was involved(complete bs since we were only the last registered owners and car was not registered, plates were turned in and was not inspected. Registration was even scraped off at dealership) to try and scare us into paying a bill we had absolutely nothing to do with. It happened almost 2 months ago so they want $160 for tow+$40 per day for storage+$20 for finding out we were last owners on title=kiss my ass, keep your free parts car cause I don't care, it's not my problem read more

I would never use this towing place again. I was in a car accident and my car had to be towed. The guy that was in the tow truck was nice, as though I thought he was. He told me that I have to pay 125 flat no tax or nothing. So the next day I had to get my car. First of all, couldn't find this place, the sign was so tiny little. I missed it lot of times. As I arrived to Murrays Towing, I was feeling a little uncomfortable. So, I walked in and the girl that cashed us out told me that it was going to be 135 with tax. Well, I only brought 125 with me because first that's all I had and second they didn't tell me it was with tax. The towing man never informed us that there was going to be tax. So than, my mother gave them her credit card. Than, they said they didn't have a credit card machine, it was on the floor broken.. So, I said well we will have to come back with more money. Than the guy that towed my car, opened his wallet and throw a ten dollar bill at the girl and said "he take it" So, my mom and I were about to say thank you for helping us out. The guy interrupted us and said you better say thank you. In the meantime, he was getting mad at us for using AAA. I like AAA and they got to my car in less than 20 minute and also didn't pick a fight. read more
