Traded in my 22 f150 here with Titus, I got a left over 24 f250 6.7 diesel. 11k off so it offset my 100k mile f150 trade value. They got most of the paperwork before I even came back for the truck so it was pretty fast. I have since had a flat tire that they fixed 2 days into having it, and got a free oil change at 5k miles. Now it's been 1 year and they just scheduled me for a Fan clutch replacement with 7k miles on it. Super friendly sales and service team so no complaints. I found a truck that I was interested in and got an outright quote with payment options. When I decided the payment would be to high I advised I would need to add a trade vehicle to the mix. I was low balled on the trade but figured that's the game you play at car dealerships. So I asked my salesman Tanner three times now in roughly three weeks if he could check on my trade value quote again as I'm close to the deal I would be comfortable with. Three times he's said he'll check into it the next day and three times I've heard nothing. Not a great way to do business or treat potential customers. Glad I read the other reviews before proceeding any further. read more

I just bought a 2020 Toyota Tacoma from Murray in April of this year. It's a basic model, had about 54,900 miles on it at the time of purchase and seemed to be in decent shape. Recently, I had a message come up on the screen saying that there was a malfunction in the airbag system and now the airbag no longer works. A few days ago, the AC system quit working completely. Then I find the original sticker price was only $29,000 when it was brand new - Murray charged me $25,000 for this vehicle. I just looked at the used price on KBB and it should not have been ANY MORE than $23,000. I called them today to see if they would help me out with the issues (obviously upset when I called) and they basically told me there was nothing they could do since it was not in warranty. Then the guy literally lectured me on how I was coming across to him on the phone - sorry, guy.....who wouldn't be upset about this?? I just gave you $25,000 on a used truck that you overpriced me on and now you can't help me at all? It is a horrible shame, too....I had a great experience with Murray back in 2007 when I bought a Honda Civic from them. The Sales Manager is a pompous jerk. Do not go here, the customer service was awful. I am extremely disappointed with them and their lack of help with a used truck I've only made two payments on!!!! read more

if I could give less than one star I would. I was in the market for a new Mazda and found what I thought was a good deal. The inventory manager I spoke with in the beginning answered all my questions. However, not only did he know I was traveling an hour and a half out of my way to purchase this vehicle, he also promised a lower monthly payment on financing after he already provided the price breakdown. After i arrived and tested one the car, he brought me to his office and showed me two different price points that's wore well over the agreed amount. Not only that, but he put my trade payoff as $2k less than what It was supposed to be EVEN THOUGH I sent the correct amount and I have it all in text. After he "adjusted" the correct amount, the monthly rate he offered me was $100 more than what was promised. If you're going to do business, at least try to correct your mistake and offer a better deal. Would NEVER recommend ANYONE come to this dealership. read more

On Saturday 5/27, my 2016 Ford Explorer (lease) indicated electrical issues while Chris and I were visiting in Williamsport and Muncy, PA. To date, our truck still remains in the Ford dealership in Muncy (not yet fixed) while we are stuck with an Enterpirse rental here in NY. 1). AAA refuses to take our car to NY even though I am a Plus member and have been for 14 years. 2) GEICO wants $890 to get my car to Brooklyn to be adequately serviced. 3). The Muncy dealership fixed one problem but cannot fix the remaining problems for another two weeks. 4) Ford Roadside assistance has been no assistance at all and will not take my car back to Brooklyn. 5) My dealership here in Brooklyn will not help me either. 6) Ford may not agree to pay for the duration of my loaner and I cannot get anyone to tell me the terms of the loaner. I have been a Ford customer for the past 22 years with absolutely no problems. My level of frustration is through the roof. I want my truck and I want it fixed. If this was NY, it would be fixed already. I'm not sure whom I'm more frustrated with...AAA, GEICO or Ford. read more

Zero integrity here at Murray Motors. Struck a deal over the phone and placed a hold on the car with Salesmen Don Peace. The next morning I received a call from the Internet sales person who connected me with the salesman and I explained my financing rate through my local CU was not as good as I hoped. He said maybe they could do a better job at getting me a better rate on a loan and he connected me with the Finance person. Their rate was not competitive so she reconnected me with the salesman. Once they realized I was not financing with them their story changed and all the sudden they had a local buyer that they would rather sell to. Don't understand why one would place their sales inventory on the web to be see nationwide, then disrespect out of town buyers. Calling to speak to Mgr Squire Murray was of zero help, so this dealership from top to bottom is not trustworthy. read more

First off we did NOT buy our Ford Focus from Murray Motors but my husband has purchased other vehicles from Murray Motors. They are closer to my home and work than where we did purchase the Focus. I chose to go w/Murray Motors for my service needs as we were considering purchasing a new vehicle from them. ( I have another FORD dealer right down the road from where I work that will give our business to now) I had a recall on the focus and also had an issue w/the non gas cap ring coming off so I figured I would have it serviced (oil change/tire rotation) while it was there for the recall. When I called to see what my bill was to pick it up I was told almost $95. I was blown away. My husband gets coupons for $39.99 for the "works", from them to bring vehicles there to be serviced. My husband called back to let them know that he gets the coupons and has one, they would NOT honor it this time as the paper work was all ready done. We can apply it to the next one... WHAT?????? WE WILL NOT BE BACK TO MURRAY MOTORS FOR ANYTHING!!! Nor will we recommend them to our worst enemy!! read more

I purchased a new Mazda CX-5 from Murray Motors on 5/16/20 because they have a "free" lifetime power train warranty. However, do not fall for this...they told me there are no special maintenance requirements I had to meet, but I later read the fine print in their warranty and they require all oil changes and regular maintenance be done and documented by their shop. I had a better deal elsewhere with no haggling and you too can do better if you check around! They also gave me a quote for an accessory and the next day when I went to buy it, they wanted to charge me $69 more. The salesman, Adam Felix, lacked knowledge of the car and never attempted to show us any of its features. At delivery, he simply gave us the owners manual, ignition key, and said goodby. Extremely poor service from sales and finance people. Complaint letters to owner and GM have been ignored so they must condone these practices. read more

Integrity of this organization is in question. On June 28 th I went to Murray Motors to look at a truck. I was quoted a very low below blue book value on my trade in by Jeff Chopick sales person so we left the dealer to go to another dealer. I was confused because when he gave me the price of the truck outside it was different from the numbers inside they made me feel like they gave me almost 2000 of the purchase price of the new truck. I decided to look it up on line and it was 2000 cheaper on line so we went back to Murray Motors to ask why! I spoke with Brent Peace, General Sales Manager and he said they always discount the price on line and we went over the numbers again and he raised my trade in by 2000. I told him I may try to sell it outright that I would get back to him. He said he had another couple coming in the morning. On the way home I immediately decided to go with the deal so I called back to Murray Motors and spoke with Jeff Chopick and we went over the numbers again and I told him I will take the deal at 5:07 pm. He asked if I wanted to go with Ford financing. He knew I had already got my own financing but I said I would give them a chance for a better rate. I asked when I got there can I put tax and tags on a credit card he said yes. I said ok what time should I come in he said he was there at 8. I said ok I will be there at 9 am. We arrived at 8:30 on June 29th and Brent Peace said your early. We sat there waiting for Jeff Chopick for 35 minutes. I looked outside and he was showing the truck to someone else. I immediately went to the General Manager Brent Peace and he said I had my chance to buy it yesterday. That is when the integrity of this organization went down hill. At no time did Jeff Chopick ask me for a deposit on the phone. I told him I will take the truck at 5:07 pm yesterday and I had an appointment at 9 today. I already had my financing. They sold the truck right under me as I sat in their waiting room. The general manager said many people say they are going to come back and don't. I said we had an appointment to take the truck at 9. I already had my financing. They were the ones pushing me for ford financing with an application. They were trying to get a better deal from the second couple after they already made one with me.
