On a recent visit to Florida, I visited Murray Motive for service before the long drive back to Indiana. I was worried about a brake issue. I felt that I applied too much pressure to the brake before the van came to a stop. Pat and the rest of the office staff was very helpful and took care of the issue as well as noticing some issues that were developing. They asked if I wanted some fluids serviced for the ride home, but they contacted my warranty company and had all the developing issues covered at no expense including any labor! On the drive back home, I started to hear a grinding noise from the front wheels. I called the office about the issue. John, one of the repair technicians, called back with the solution. One of the tires needed to be adjusted. So, Pat called to the nearest shop he could find near my position, which was almost Valdosta at this point, and asked if I would stop there to take a look. Not sure exactly what the issue was, but the owner said that it was a simple adjustment and that all expenses were paid for by Murray Motive! I finished the ride home and have had no issues since then. I really appreciated the extra effort to fix and pay for an issue that could have easily been labeled as wear and tear. read more

Thank you for the rescue! I'd like to praise the manager David and his staff for coming to my rescue. It was a tiring day - having to come to the airport early to pick up my Mom and looking at a couple of hours drive back to our place. However, after several hours on the road, while listening to my Mom with her usual stories, our car decided that it had enough. After checking my phone for any nearby auto shop, I found Murray Motive and thinking that I should take the leap of faith, I decided to give this place a try. To my surprise, the manager David was eager to help us - even sending one of his crew to tow our car. Before I knew it, my car was at their workshop and their hands were on the job right away. In the end, the problem was fixed. It took them almost 2 hours. Pretty fast I think. We came home a few hours late from our schedule but it wasn't that bad because we didn't have such a bad time. These guys were friendly and polite and my Mom had a great time chatting with them. Their service really went above and beyond their call of duty and that is really special. So thanks! read more

I am so very impressed with the excellent customer service MM provides!! Before I even brought it in I spoke with AJ and also Pat regarding my unique problem with my car. Their prices are competitive, but they will not charge you for things that are unnecessary. Like some OTHER famous chain shops do!! Even though they could not pin point my exact problem, my car runs great since they reset all of the codes. My engine light is now off. I even got a ride back to my house with a super great dude who was personable and professional. The associates at this place made me feel special, and when I left, they gave me a DETAILED description from start to finish of what was said, what they did, and what they suggest. They even gave me diagrams with highlighted car parts, in case my car starts acting up again, to show me what it COULD be. Do not hesitate to bring your car in here. After a number of friends recommending me to go this shop I finally went and boy was I impressed. They were very busy with lots of nice cars waiting to be serviced in the bays and parking lot (Lexus, Hondas, BMW, Toyota, etc). I went in without an appointment yet they were very kind and patient with me and took me in that day. They fixed 2 problems on this one visit that a couple of other shops could not. That alone proved to me they are the best around. As a woman they never talked down to me - in fact it was just the opposite. They were extremely friendly, in fact fun. Now how often can you say that about a car repair experience?! Like my friends before me, I'll highly recommend them to everyone who asks. read more

The only thing I'm disappointed about is that I've not taken my car to Murray Motive before. They re-diagnosed my problem within 30 seconds of test driving the car - the problem was nothing close to what I was told at the service center I had been going to for years. Every one of the service techs and staff that I came across demonstrated the highest level of customer courtesy and professionalism (something I've not seen at the other local car service). Murray Motive is the best. My Anti-Lock Brake light came on and the internet said take it to a mechanic. I took it to MM thinking it may just be a sensor (a couple hundred bucks) or it could be something more serious (a couple thousand bucks). But it turned out that it was just a screw that held the wheel speed sensor in place that was not tight. So they just charged me the inspection fee. (Less than $150). They could have told me anything, but they were honest (as usual) and spared me having to go rob a bank or sell one of my children to pay. AJ, Chris and Pat are awesome! read more

These guys are awesome! My car broke down while driving 2 days ago. Towed it to my local Ford dealer and they gave me an estimate for over $1700.00 which I could not afford. My father recommended taking it to his repair shop, Murray Motive. They fixed my problems for less than half the cost! I love them already. They were so nice, towed it to their shop for free, offered me a loaner car, fixed it on the same day, and to top it off it was washed when I picked it up. I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Murray Motive. The staff is educated, friendly, honest and willing to work with your budget on pricing. I used them to replace a water pump on my Jeep and will be coming back for any future repairs that I need. They had me in and out the door in a couple of hours and even tested the new pump by driving the car around the block a few times to make sure it was done right. I've been using Murray Motive for years. I recently did a engine swap for my antique sports car. They did great work. More recently they did a repair on my wife's car. She told me she had a very positive experience, liked the facility. She pointed out that they charged her $37 for something the dealer quoted $225 when she took it to them for a recall repair. I took my 1998 nissan altima to Murray Motive as my brakes were failing. they saw me on an emergency basis and helped me get back on the road safely. I have been taking all my vehicles to Murray Motive since 1992. They are salaried employees who know their stuff about cars. I have never been disappoined with them. Great service. They did a comprehensive inspection during an oil change. Happy they are so thorough as they found worn brakes and a couple of minor problems . They showed me the problems and the service advisor gave me my options and costs to complete the job, gave me transportation home and call when finished. Have purchased Cooper tires before and now have a place to go for repairs. read more

Great service, I was getting a 4 wheel alignment on our car and the appointment time was met with service started at the appointed time.
