Recently, I had my taillights replaced (the whole system) and I was quoted $200 for a new pair. When I came to pay, they denied ever saying $200 over the phone, and told me that it was $240 and that was it. I was prepared to pay $200 and labor, not $240 and labor. They did not call me to check if the new cost was okay, which in NYS is against auto law. You're supposed to ask customers if the adjustment is okay if it's over 10% of the originally quoted price. If I had bought used parts, it would have been HALF the cost. I only wanted new parts for their so called warranty. I wouldn't have spent $240 if I knew. It would literally be cheaper to have them take out the new parts and exchange them for the used parts, even including the extra labor. The first time I was here, I asked to get my taillights and brakes fixed. They ignored the taillights, fixed the brakes and managed to find several other "issues" to upsell me with. Honestly not a good business to go to if you don't know cars. They will screw you and your wallet. Recent update: The owner reached out to me and after a few emails, I did get a gift certificate to Trombley's (undoubtedly to try to keep me as a customer). They couldn't do inspection nobody qualified to do it they balanced the tires a second time and the guy told me I don't think it will be any better because you're rims are bent. I didn't have an issue with the ride before I went in it just needed tires. I call the main office to talk to someone and was told they would call me back. It's going on 3 days and still haven't heard from anyone. Their shop in Victor recommended Monroe across from their Canandaigua shop. I went there they balanced the tires and the car rides fine. I won't be going back to them when I'm in the area again.

I can say overall that going with them was the best decision I ever made. We actually bought the tires last year (2021), they replaced all four tires and did some extra alignment work that needed to happen. Since then they've held up so well, and I haven't had to have any work done with the tires since. Though Fox Tire gave us the least expensive option, they absolutely have the BEST tires to offer, and absolutely fabulous service on top of it. A year later now, I discovered a nail in my tire and was worried it'd have to be replaced. After stressing about the expense of some new tires I ended up bringing my car back to Fox with the original receipt for the tires to get an opinion on whether I would need to replace it. Fortunately, they were able to patch my tire. FOR FREE, because I still had my receipt from buying tires from them originally. SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS PEOPLE!! They absolutely saved my life today. They weren't busy at all so they were able to take my car in right away and patch it up no problem. It took less than ten minutes. FABULOUS service. The team here is so nice and they took a huge weight off of my shoulders being able to take care of the issues with my tires so quickly. Not only do they do quality work, but the services they offer absolutely make it worth it to continue to come back to them with any issues.

They told me they purchase used tires and that the range is typically $10-$80 per tire depending on condition and demand. After I brought the tires in, they offered only $10 per tire, then raised it to just $12.50 per tire. That is $50 total for four good-condition EV winter tires that originally cost around $1,000. The offer was ridiculously low and felt like a complete waste of my time. I would not recommend bringing used tires here unless you are ready to be lowballed.
