Problem with 100yr old rings is they're... 100yrs old. The well worn tines holding these precious little stones in place were really struggling to do their job in these modern times. When, one morning, a few weeks ago we discovered the remnants of a tine sticking straight up and that we could move the emerald in it's setting, we decided it was time. After some research, talking to friends and reading online reviews we decided to entrust Aric with our coveted heirloom. We are SO glad we did! He did an incredible job of re-tining and re-pronging the ring, whilst keeping its low profile for everyday wear. We felt he was reasonably priced, communicative and respectful. Would highly recommend to all for jewelry repair work. The ring looks great again and my wife is very happy to have it back on her finger. Thanks Aric!

Amazing store all around! You'll notice 1 one star review- I was there when this 'incident' occurred, nothing that they said was accurate. The staff were patient and helpful and when she asked them to go to the back to look for a ring that wasn't out front, she got impatient and left when it was taking too long after being belligerent with staff. She came back in and asked for the owners number and was HANDED POLITELY the card with his info on it. Then left in a huff. Don't let someone determined to have a bad day influence your opinion. My other question was about jewelry repair on a piece I have which is a highly sought after Southwestern turquoise and silver necklace. He refused to even look at it if I brought it in and stated it wasn't even worth what it would cost to fix. I realized it was clearly outside of his self-inflated level of expertise and politely asked if he knew any other local jewelers who do have knowledge of this style of jewelry. Again, an abrupt "No." My fiance and I have done business there several times before over the years including the recent purchase and resizing of my engagement ring, and the staff were very nice.
