So I am posting here as well. Unfortunately don't recommend this store. They do have very cute gifts & souvenirs and such, but the attitude from employees is, and has been awful for years. You get a sneer over a hello, a sigh or attitude if you have a question and I honestly would just never imagine the kind of treatment I have both, witnessed and received, especially in a Hallmark store while picking up a greeting card for Grandpa or an ornament gift. I try to stay positive as often as possible, even when people are rude and nasty. Maybe the sales person has had a bad day or isnt feeling well or just went through something crazy stressful and didnt have the energy to hide it? We're all human and we all have bad days.. but this just isnt the case here. This is a constant repeat and its darn right irritating. In all of my years of going, I have been a Hallmark member for many years and have been to about 6-8 different locations throughout 2 states now. Believe me, the free monthly card & coupons are not worth the stress of the visit. See other reviews as well if you'd like (not just Yelp either). Also, the corporate office has nothing they can do as this particular store is independently owned by the chain: Higgins Hallmark Shop. So unless you would like to go that route, contact them and take things further, seems like nothing is going to change. Sad.

The amount of bad reviews made for this…read morespecific location regarding the employees attitude should make someone in hiring consider hiring someone new. She was extremely rude just because I am a colored teenager, and she was making racist jokes at me while she was checking my items out. It was beyond upsetting, and I really don't think it's fair for someone like that to be working retail.

My friend and I went in to Rose's Kalispell boutique for readings on separate occasions. I went…read morefirst with my son because my son and I have gifts and I had a lot of questions. I paid $25 and she gave me a 10 minute "palm reading" (if that's what you want to call it). She didn't touch on any of my lines or go in to depth about anything. Ten minutes zoomed by and I was barely given a chance to talk- anytime I had a question she'd interrupt me with things that could be relevant and generic to anyone's lives and also told me things that didn't even match up with mine. I went in with a very open mind because I'm that type of person. My friend and I aren't new to this type of work because we do it ourselves and have our own gifts so I just new she was feeding me a bunch of bullshit. I left super unhappy and more confused than when I went in but was still hopeful.... until my friend went in. 1-2 months later... I drive my friend to Rose's Boutique in Kalispell so she could have a reading. We get to the door n knock, Rose came to the door and my friend asked for the reading. Rose looked at me, my friend and my friends little sister and got annoyed. She said me and my friends little sister couldn't be there because this was her home/business (understandable) and told her to come back. My friend went back and Rose yelled out the door and said it will only take 10 minutes (before I was told that it can take anywhere from 10-60 minutes and it just depends on what's coming through to her for my friend). Also mind you, Rose didn't even know what my friend wanted from her or what kind of reading she wanted. So My friend goes in for a quick 10 minutes. The more we talk the more we find out that Rose told her almost EXACTLY what she told me. My friend said Rose was very pushy and she too felt rushed and wasn't able to relax or ask her any questions. Super annoyed that I wasted 25$ at this shop but also glad that atleast now I know to never go back.
