This location was once great but the lines have gotten increasingly longer & they're regularly out of drinks.

They remind me of a Quik Trip, slushies and all. There definately needs to be an updated store front pic, it has come a long way. Lol

Love's has been consistently reliable for clean restrooms, and this location lived up to that reputation without any fuss. Their snack selection was solid too, with the usual mix of grab-and-go items that make it easy to get back on the road without losing momentum. Fuel prices were competitive for the area, which I always appreciate, but since I still had about 1/2 a tank left I decided to wait for a lower region to fill up. It's nice to have the option though, and the pump layout here makes it easy to pull in and out without feeling boxed in by traffic. They also have the long stick squeegees so I can get the entire windshield on the Sprinter. The station sits directly off the highway, which makes it one of those effortless exits where you're not wandering through a maze of frontage roads. They share the building with a McDonald's if that's your style, and if not, there's an Arby's and a Starbucks right next door, so you've got choices without having to rejoin traffic or hunt around. It's the kind of stop that does exactly what you need it to do: clean, convenient, predictable, and easy to get back on the interstate afterward. Prior to the shift, the store was clean, well-stocked, and the perfect place for my morning stop. However, in the past few weeks, it has gone downhill considerably. I have stopped several times to find they were out of cups for the fountain machine, or long lines that I simply did not have time to wait in. I can forgive this, but it has been constant. Today, for example, I stopped in for a drink and a breakfast bar to find no ice in the machine. I was disappointed, but opted for a bottled drink instead. I made it to the front of the line after waiting for 5-7 minutes, only to find that the credit and debit machines were down. This visit was the last straw for me. They wasted my time for the last time today. On a side note - I don't typically order from the grill, but I saw a rather large cockroach run behind the counter during a previous visit. Gross. 2 stars, ONLY because gas is priced reasonably (not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either, and on my route to work)

From the outside you would have no idea they have a full service kitchen offering quite an array of southern style food and general convenience store selection. They're famous for their hot dogs and with good reason. Go for a slaw dog if that's what you like, but if not just throw some chili on it and enjoy one of those unique pink dogs that make em world famous at the Village Store. They also have some new things like chicken on a stick that offers a surprising combination of tastes to enjoy. Their biscuits are made from scratch daily so go enjoy one of their breakfast items too. If all you want is cold beer then they've got quite the selection in their walk-in beer cave. With some of the cheapest gas prices in the area, the Village Store is definitely a one-stop-shop that you shouldnt pass by.
