Today's lunch was smothered braised chicken livers, mac n cheese, and potato casserole WITH A FOUNTAIN DRINK for around $9! And these livers, y'all! So tender and flavorful! The macaroni is good, (I've had worse, I've had better), and the potato casserole is bussin'! The staff is always friendly.

This was one of those occasions where I decided to pop into the beer and wine side. Upon entry, there was no attention to the customers, but I was like whatever good customer service isn't always the standard anymore especially when the employees are on their cellphones. Again, no big deal. I figured hey someone one I got in would speak and offer assistance. Instead, the employees looked at me as if I had on an orange jumpsuit in shackles. It was really weird and uncomfortable. I tried to power through it just to get what I needed but then with not being offered help and being uncomfortable with people looking at me like I was on the most recent episode of America's Most Wanted, I just left to go get what I needed elsewhere. Totally unfortunate because once upon a time I really favored Bottles, and it had been a while since my last visit, but never did it feel like this one. I didn't go to the alcohol side so I'm not sure if it would have been the same over there or not.
