I feel like we chose poorly in the end but we were able to get gas at a fairly good price. The bathrooms were fairly clean and the store was fairly well stocked. In the end I left without buying anything cuz I was hoping to get some juice and they had a lot of empty spaces where things would have been that I was looking for. My kid picked up a couple things and the person working the register was being really nice to everyone until they stepped up the register and they wouldn't even make eye contact with my kid.

The mini mart also has a wide selection of energy and protein drinks, so I always swing by here to grab some Monsters or Whey protein. They also carry the 42g fair life core power drinks which are my favorite. They do have a public restroom, which is usually pretty dirty and an ATM inside. My go to place in the Lexington area for gas.

The four of us used the restroom here and looked at the various snacks and drinks. I asked one of the employees what the differences were between the slushies (or slurpees) and the frozen ices. To me, the brightly colored semi-frozen drinks looked like they were the same as they were in the vending machine that constantly swirled them around. The employee looked at me like I was wasting his time and said, "I've worked here for years and I've never had any of them, so I don't know what the differences are!" You would think that someone selling these things would learn a little something about them in the many years that he's worked here, but nope! About two minutes after that, the same employee yelled to one of his co-workers who was near the entrance, bellowing, "DON'T LET ANYONE ELSE IN THE STORE!" Anyone still in the store was allowed to leave, though ... Oh! It was closing time at 11 pm, and grumpy wanted to get the heck out of here. After taking our turns in the restrooms, we bought a slushy and a bag of spicy beef jerky. While we were paying at the cash register, the grumpy and tired employee, who had locked the front door and was on the inside ensuring that the only people going through the door were four of us, was now yelling at some woman who wanted to come inside. The employee kept yelling, "WE'RE CLOSED, MA'M! WE'RE CLOSED! to her". As we walked toward the door, grouchy unlocked the door and glared at us as we walked out. The snack and drink was good. The customer service was just absolutely horrible! Don't come here at closing time, because one of the employees will be a grouch.

It is so unique it offers different rooms in each room. It feels like you're in a cozy library. They also allow dogs which I loved. The furniture and shop is a little dated, but adds character. My pup and I sat in a room and took a couple meetings and it felt so cozy and comfortable. I felt like I was at home and had enough privacy.
