There were 2 in the bay and 2 in line before me and I was still in and out in 15 minutes. One of the mechanics trucks had been caught fire just before pulling in. The remnants were there for us all to see. Thank God he was ok! They were all pushing through like soldiers to keep work smooth. I could find the lever to open my hood. The mechanic was so kind. And told me sometimes there out of place. Patiently waited while I looked. They don't try to take advantage of you. They don't do you a disservice by not checking other issues either. He showed me my air filter. Told me it wasn't bad enough to change this time but have it checked again next time. Hard working group of guys. They keep America going.

Came here after driving up the street from a different Murphy Express that was closer to I-20 (yes,…read morethe other Murphy Express that closed off it's restrooms and wouldn't allow any customers to use them). The four of us used the restroom here and looked at the various snacks and drinks. I asked one of the employees what the differences were between the slushies (or slurpees) and the frozen ices. To me, the brightly colored semi-frozen drinks looked like they were the same as they were in the vending machine that constantly swirled them around. The employee looked at me like I was wasting his time and said, "I've worked here for years and I've never had any of them, so I don't know what the differences are!" You would think that someone selling these things would learn a little something about them in the many years that he's worked here, but nope! About two minutes after that, the same employee yelled to one of his co-workers who was near the entrance, bellowing, "DON'T LET ANYONE ELSE IN THE STORE!" Anyone still in the store was allowed to leave, though ... Oh! It was closing time at 11 pm, and grumpy wanted to get the heck out of here. After taking our turns in the restrooms, we bought a slushy and a bag of spicy beef jerky. While we were paying at the cash register, the grumpy and tired employee, who had locked the front door and was on the inside ensuring that the only people going through the door were four of us, was now yelling at some woman who wanted to come inside. The employee kept yelling, "WE'RE CLOSED, MA'M! WE'RE CLOSED! to her". As we walked toward the door, grouchy unlocked the door and glared at us as we walked out. The snack and drink was good. The customer service was just absolutely horrible! Don't come here at closing time, because one of the employees will be a grouch.

When I finished pumping I noticed the total cost was up over $47.00 which is about $10-$12 higher than a normal fill for my Pathfinder. I looked at the receipt and found that I was charged $2.89/gal- the Premium price. I went in to the cashier to try to resolve it, but of course she had no clue what to do. I had to leave so she took my name and phone number, but I have heard nothing from them. (Not that I expected to). I'm not sure how an error occurs in their system like that, but it's something that they need to resolve ASAP. Disappointed.
