I don't know about you, but most of my experiences at the dental office have been unpleasant. More often than not, I have felt like just another person that fills a chair with no real personal care or plan. Once I saw the great reviews for here- I booked an appointment. That was almost 4 years ago, and I haven't gone anywhere since! My very first appointment here was probably the best one I've ever had at a dentist. I had just came from a dental office where I went with a problem of bleeding gums and all I was told was that there was a mouthwash I would have to use to correct the problem.... Pretty much forever lol and then sent right out the door. It went the complete opposite here though. I first met Dr Diana Barzano and she got me right together......she was so sweet that she gave me her cell phone number in case I had any questions or issues with my mouth after she got done working on me; I had a lot of issues going on. Despite what I had going on she made me feel super safe and actually cared for. Everyone in the office is an absolute sweetheart and extremely professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Val is another one of my favorites. I started taking my young son there and he loves her too. Although he is only nine, she and everyone else is very hands-on with dealing with him, especially since he can be pretty nervous in the office. I am so glad that I found them and don't plan on going anywhere else.

I was SO nervous to have a tooth bonded. Dr. Kouris is an ARTIST. She took her time and explained everything thoroughly. I felt so comfortable. I knew I was in good hands. She was excited to create a work of art. I'm afraid to say too much good in this review because it'll be hard to get an appt. But, seriously - she is soooo incredible. A unicorn in the industry. My tooth looks better than it has in 20 years. She didn't just say - 'ok you're done.' She asked numerous times....'how does it feel? Do you like it? Is anything bothering you?' And when I was walking out she said - 'if anything feels odd just come back in and I'll touch it up for free. I stand by my work.' I'm so impressed with this office and Dr. Kouris. Everyone is friendly. The dental hygienists explain everything they are doing and follows up on what is going on. They explain everything in an understandable way if there is something going on. Dr Mui is patient and takes time to figure out what is going with tooth discomfort. He also takes time to explain what and why he is doing what he is doing.

I asked about it but no effort made to turn it down. Why would you do that with all the noisy dental equipment running? I mentioned my TMJ problems and was ignored and told "Well you grind" - I don't grind anymore and I wear two nightguards at night so the wear on my teeth and guard are from the past. I was hoping to have the modern equipment the listed to be used on my jaw to analyze it. I got nothing. Why advertise that if you aren't going to use it? The dentist I got seemed frustrated to have to even deal with me (new patient) "well it looks good to me" Well, I have pain and here is where it. They don't listen and having to do extra work seemed like a inconvenience to them. My issue got fixed but it only lasted like two days. My bite was analyzed with pieces of paper. So I have to go somewhere else now to get a REAL fix because I don't appreciate being blamed for everything which honestly seems like a cop out to not to try to fix the problem. I won't go back. First at my last cleaning the hygienist didn't know how to turn on the lights or cleaning equipment. She rushed through what I'd saw was the most slipshod cleaning I've had in my entire 62 years of being alive and didn't even floss my teeth. When I left my review someone reached out to me and said she was on an interview. Well, I don't run a dental practice, but if I did I'd show them how to turn on the equipment before she went to work AND I'd have the interviewee clean a staff or family member's teeth and ask them for feedback. Instead this woman did a bad job and no one asked me for feedback. Kind of makes me wonder if I'm getting an honest answer from the practice. Second, on a Saturday morning I was eating granola and felt a crack followed by some pretty severe pain. I was glad Dr Perna was able to squeeze me in. He saw me, looked around and said he didn't see anything and come back if it continued to be a problem. Now, I haven't been to Dental School, but there are two HUGE things he didn't do. 1. He didn't even touch the tooth! Yep, you got that right. Didn't even touch the tooth to see if it may be broken below the gum line. 2. He didn't take an x-ray! Seriously, if the patient tells you he felt a "Crack" and is in pain even I know you take an x-ray to see if the problem could be below the gum line! Oh, and you get to bill for that too so you'd make more money! I got a second opinion 2 days later, the tooth was touched, x-rays were taken and the tooth was broken below the gum line exactly as I suspected. It's since been extracted and I've had an implant inserted. I'll be getting the tooth on the post in a few months. From my new dentist. These both demonstrate complete incompetence by this practice.
