I don't know about you, but most of my experiences at the dental office have been unpleasant. More often than not, I have felt like just another person that fills a chair with no real personal care or plan. Once I saw the great reviews for here- I booked an appointment. That was almost 4 years ago, and I haven't gone anywhere since! My very first appointment here was probably the best one I've ever had at a dentist. I had just came from a dental office where I went with a problem of bleeding gums and all I was told was that there was a mouthwash I would have to use to correct the problem.... Pretty much forever lol and then sent right out the door. It went the complete opposite here though. I first met Dr Diana Barzano and she got me right together......she was so sweet that she gave me her cell phone number in case I had any questions or issues with my mouth after she got done working on me; I had a lot of issues going on. Despite what I had going on she made me feel super safe and actually cared for. Everyone in the office is an absolute sweetheart and extremely professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Val is another one of my favorites. I started taking my young son there and he loves her too. Although he is only nine, she and everyone else is very hands-on with dealing with him, especially since he can be pretty nervous in the office. I am so glad that I found them and don't plan on going anywhere else.

I was SO nervous to have a tooth bonded. Dr. Kouris is an ARTIST. She took her time and explained everything thoroughly. I felt so comfortable. I knew I was in good hands. She was excited to create a work of art. I'm afraid to say too much good in this review because it'll be hard to get an appt. But, seriously - she is soooo incredible. A unicorn in the industry. My tooth looks better than it has in 20 years. She didn't just say - 'ok you're done.' She asked numerous times....'how does it feel? Do you like it? Is anything bothering you?' And when I was walking out she said - 'if anything feels odd just come back in and I'll touch it up for free. I stand by my work.' I'm so impressed with this office and Dr. Kouris. I made an appointment 6/2023 after a glowing recommendation from my sister…read more 1st Appointment 6/28/2023 - Xrays, light consultation, etc. 2nd Appointment 10/9/2023 - Consultation, cleaning. cancelled 2nd Appointment 11/06/2023 Deep cleaning, light consultation - Called to reschedule appointment and was charged $60 cancellation fee because I called inside of 48 hours. no problem since I agreed to pay it at the initial visit to them. 3rd Appointment 3/13/2024 - Cleaning, consultation (at this point I'm wondering of any real work will be done after this many visits.) 4th Appointment 4/4/2024 - 2 hours to repair 5 teeth which I have never done before. I'm 66 years old and take meds (water pill)for HBP, so that wasn't fun. I was embarrassed and kept apologizing for the inconvenience. I got up from the chair about 5 times within 2 hours. The Doctor and his assistant were understanding but the time it took was too many teeth for one visit. I felt miserable. The local anesthesia administration was painless. The chair was inverted and my feet were higher than my head which made for a very uncomfortable visit to say the least. The kindness of the staff is on point, but after this visit It took me several hours to recover. 5th Appointment (2024) - Which was going to be a 1 hour visit and because of my Spinal Stenosis which flared up after cutting the grass, I decided to reschedule. I was then told via test message that basically I have breached the cancellation policy and to find another dentist. The exact message is shown below: "We need 48 hour notice." "We have inactivated you from our office please look for another dentist. We only allow 3 cancelled appt." As a side note, I was told that the reason for the cancellation fee is because the Dentist in only in the office once a week. Wow!! It makes me wonder why so many visits were done before any real work was done. All and all, not a bad experience, just not a great fit for me. I guess I'll have to find an office that wont invert me in the chair and not charge me so much for cancellations.

First at my last cleaning the hygienist didn't know how to turn on the lights or cleaning equipment. She rushed through what I'd saw was the most slipshod cleaning I've had in my entire 62 years of being alive and didn't even floss my teeth. When I left my review someone reached out to me and said she was on an interview. Well, I don't run a dental practice, but if I did I'd show them how to turn on the equipment before she went to work AND I'd have the interviewee clean a staff or family member's teeth and ask them for feedback. Instead this woman did a bad job and no one asked me for feedback. Kind of makes me wonder if I'm getting an honest answer from the practice. Second, on a Saturday morning I was eating granola and felt a crack followed by some pretty severe pain. I was glad Dr Perna was able to squeeze me in. He saw me, looked around and said he didn't see anything and come back if it continued to be a problem. Now, I haven't been to Dental School, but there are two HUGE things he didn't do. 1. He didn't even touch the tooth! Yep, you got that right. Didn't even touch the tooth to see if it may be broken below the gum line. 2. He didn't take an x-ray! Seriously, if the patient tells you he felt a "Crack" and is in pain even I know you take an x-ray to see if the problem could be below the gum line! Oh, and you get to bill for that too so you'd make more money! I got a second opinion 2 days later, the tooth was touched, x-rays were taken and the tooth was broken below the gum line exactly as I suspected. It's since been extracted and I've had an implant inserted. I'll be getting the tooth on the post in a few months. From my new dentist. These both demonstrate complete incompetence by this practice.
