Now I bring my 2 new puppy mill rescues to her, a Yorkie/Maltese mix and a Cavapoo. My Cavapoo is frightened of everything and Julie takes her time with her to help her feel more comfortable. My Morkie is a little sassy and Julie does such a good job with her as well. They always look fabulous! One of the most important things to me when I originally started with Julie, is that she grooms one dog at a time so your dog isn't sitting around in a cage for hours waiting their turn. Even though I have moved further away, it's worth the drive!

This place is a higher end dog and pet store. We came in as we didn't want to take our large breed to the groomer and the place closest to my parents house was closed. It's like a nice spa for pets.... with essential oils and spa music. A little much for our taste but cheaper than the groomer! The entire place was spotless. Everything looked brand new and the staff was extremely accommodating. Cute pet store with cute toys and bandannas.

Must. Love. Dogs…read more And believe me, Soapy Dogs groomers really do! My normally chill German Shepherd has an alter ego that only comes out when getting his nails trimmed. Then, look out. He strikes fear in the heart of even the most experienced of groomers. Enter Soapy Dogs to the rescue. By the time he was done getting his nails "did," he was eating out of the groomer's hand. Literally. Walking outside for a curbside dog spa treatment couldn't be more convenient. On-time and professional.

His undercoat was ridiculous--the more we brushed, the more he shed. So after the stinky cheese incident (see what I did there?), I was thrilled to get an appointment from a cancellation the same week. So today he went to the Salon, and let me tell you, they are NOT salon prices which almost scared me off. The love everyone had for dogs, and the respect they had for our preference for a natural look will keep me coming back...as long as I can quit procrastinating. :D Everything you could want from a groomer.

Then I showed up for my appt on Wednesday and the pet salon was closed and the voicemail box was full. There was no notice on the door and none of the neighboring businesses knew what was going on. I questioned this because the last time I was there they pulled out an index card that all my info on it, then she told me that the owner was ill and I suggested it would have been helpful for someone to put a notice on the door and she changed her story again that the owner had a family emergency... hard to know what the true reason is, but I do know that I will not be returning.
