After I left the tire shop, there was a clanking noise coming from one of tires. The tire shop couldn't find anything wrong and said there was probably something else loose in the car from hitting the water main so hard. My car is a VW and replacement parts are expensive, so another VW owner highly recommended Luis Alvarez Auto Repair cause they were local, honest, and fixed things right away. I called the shop at 1:30pm, they got me in at 2pm, and I was done by 3pm. Before he took it out, Luis showed me the small rock that was wedged down by the brake caliper. Efficient, inexpensive, and friendly.

There was one bad experience, where they didn't tighten the clamp on one of my hoses and all of my coolant leaked out on the highway. That was irritating beyond belief. Other than that experience, their service is good overall. Be warned, they are one of the few shops that will still charge a foreign car fee. I can't rate them higher than 3 stars because their pricing is on the high end. Not dealership service center high, but they consistently charge more than Medicar across the street and Cha's Auto Service down the road.
