The week I got my braces off I noticed that when I didn't wear my retainer for over an hour my front teeth would shift to a gap. When I went for my retainer check a few weeks later I brought this issue to Dr. Birds attention and was told I was clearly not wearing my retainer and to keep up with my hygiene. I have a class 3 overbite. My bottom teeth press against the back of my top teeth so severely that my teeth physically can't stay shut. Bird never even put me in bands. I wouldn't recommend anyone to get their braces at bird.

They said I need 2 root canals and I have about 7 cavities. I am going to get a second opinion. Also, during the cleaning - the dentist was chit chatting with the assistant. I looked down at my phone once. The dentist said to me very rudely AND aggressively, "Can we do this first?". I didn't look at my phone again even after she left. Now, I feel like I was beat up and the bedside manner was absolutely horrific. I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone!! Also, they forgot that they made an appointment for me on 11/11 and when I arrived, they told me that I didn't have one. Terrible business.

They gave me an estimate of about $150 above what y insurance would pay (per side) for this service that needed to be done in two settings so they could bill my insurance separately. I thought that was a bit high but moved forward with the first procedure. The first cleaning procedure went fine and the staff and doctor were very nice, but I am now looking at a bill for $619 although I was told they do accept our insurance. I understand how estimates can be off a bit but not by this much. I would have never had the procedure done if I knew it was going to be this expensive. Needless to say, I will find a more reasonable place for my basic dental needs.
