She went a step further by performing quality assurance--taking additional X-rays at the end to ensure nothing was missed. In fact, she spotted an area that needed more attention, went back to remove additional tartar, and then took another X-ray to confirm the final result. That level of care and attention to detail was incredibly reassuring and impressive. My wife was equally impressed with Dr. Phil, who came in for a consultation. She had such a positive experience that she immediately asked Brandi at the front desk if she could book her own cleaning with Tiffany. I was initially hesitant about getting a deep cleaning, but Tiffany explained everything clearly and reassured me that when I return to California, my dentist there can receive the records from Bridgemill and continue maintenance cleanings without issue. The office verified my insurance benefits, but no one mentioned that my plan had a 12-month waiting period -- something previous dental offices have specifically warned me about in the past. I understand that patients are ultimately responsible for knowing their insurance coverage, but if an office is verifying benefits and providing estimates, I believe important limitations like waiting periods should at least be discussed or flagged as a possibility. After the procedure, I received only a text message saying I owed significantly more because insurance covered nothing. I also learned there were additional X-ray charges that had never been discussed with me beforehand or included in the estimate. When I called for clarification, I didn't feel like my concerns were taken seriously, and the explanation I received was mostly that they were "honoring the contracted rate" even though insurance denied the claim. The dental work itself was fine, but the lack of clear communication about costs and coverage left me frustrated enough that I won't be returning.

My wife visited his practice for dental care and shared with me how happy she was with Rebecca, Dental Hygienist, and Dr Al. How they took care to make sure that their dental care work was not uncomfortable; constantly checking in with her during the procedure to make sure she was not experiencing pain. She also commented on how modern their facility is. Example: She watched TV during, the procedure- a TV display mounted strategically overhead. Dr Al's team checked in with her proactively - post visit - to verify that their service met her expectations and if see she had any needs (the nature of her service need required two visits). Dr Al encouraged her to feel free to make contact anytime. I visited his practice in recent weeks and found my wife's feedback to be on-target. Rebecca and Dr Al are genuinely friendly and engaging. Very confidently professional in their work, which is a important attribute in my view. Also, it was easy to get a timely appointment. They were very responsive to meeting my schedule needs. Rebecca had some practical tips; suggesting my looking into new "portable" water irrigation / flossing appliances that make home dental care effective and convenient (in contrast to my vintage tank type system). Dr Al's team made the insurance submission process painless, and his fees appeared to be in line with what I expected. We are glad to have found such a responsive and professional team of caregivers.
