MURA Train Sushi (not to be confused with Sushi Mura) didn't do much for me in terms of what was on offer. I found it perplexing that so many of the sushi roll's had melted cheese on them, and couldn't bring myself to eat any of these.
I started off with the teriyaki chicken and avocado roll, which didn't have enough sauce for my liking. I then tried the pork cutlet sushi roll which was a first for me, and tasted good, though not amazing. Next up was the tempura prawn roll, which tasted nice, though I would have preferred it without the sauce. The tuna and avocado roll was next, and I found that the pieces were smaller than most other places for this roll.
I wanted to order gyoza, though couldn't bring myself to spend $5 for three pieces, so I ordered the chicken karaage instead, which was $5 for four pieces. These were thankfully relatively big, and tasted nice enough.
I decided to finish off with the chocolate souffle, in case I could be wowed by the dessert, and whilst it was nice, it was a bit rich, not as good as the Domino's chocolate lava cakes.
The store was clean and well presented, the staff were friendly and efficient and there was ample parking. Most of the plates were only $3.50, apart from $5 warm dishes and desserts, and the other mains that they have on offer. I personally wouldn't visit again, though if the thought of cheese on sushi excites you, you may like to check them out. read more
