When I finally spoke with Ron, the service manager, he was short, dismissive, and unwilling to answer my questions about why a major component would fail after only two months or whether I had any options for an exchange or refund. Then my husband called, and suddenly the mower was ready for pickup. The oil change and blade sharpening I requested were never done. The manager offered excuses instead of accountability, including telling me weekends "don't count" as part of the nearly three weeks they had my mower. I bought a brand-new mower because I have a large property and needed reliable equipment. Instead, I got a major mechanical failure after two months, weeks without my mower during peak mowing season, poor communication, and dismissive customer service. Spending over $4,000 apparently does not guarantee reliable equipment or basic customer service at TERPSTRA'S. I will take my business elsewhere and would not recommend their sales or service department.

Turnaround time is pretty decent even during the peak season, with quality parts and by people who KNOW the ins and outs of the equipment. I recently went in for a purchase of some work equipment that I DIDN'T want to share. Mainly bc, some folks don't care about the stuff bc they didn't personally pay for it... sad fact but oh well. Bought a top of the line oscillating 0° pressure washer tip for $199 and it's been the greatest thing ever. The innards are made of ceramic and (if I remember correctly) titanium, ensuring long life and impeccable performance. A tough rubber sleeved exterior helps withstand shock damage and makes for a comfy grip as well. Second item was a 4' 3500 psi stainless steel wand, while heavier than the aluminum wands our company has been getting, they're sturdier, resist acids and other chemicals more and don't flex like softer aluminum. They put all the correct fittings on both the tip and the wand within minutes, all seals and gaskets as well. It was a quick and easy in and out and ready to get to work. Highly recommend this place.
