As I stated, I also intended to revisit my review after the process was complete. Based on the professionalism of your technician and the fact that I felt your quote was reasonable, I would have given your company a much higher rating. That is why I find the decision to simply decline the work somewhat surprising. Rather than discussing my concern and allowing the overall experience to play out, you have chosen not to even consider moving forward with the project. From a customer's perspective, declining work because someone questioned a fee and expressed an opinion about it does not come across as particularly professional. I appreciate the refund, but I wanted to make sure my position was clear. My concern was never with your technician or the quality of his interaction with me. The manager offered excuses instead of accountability, including telling me weekends "don't count" as part of the nearly three weeks they had my mower. I bought a brand-new mower because I have a large property and needed reliable equipment. Instead, I got a major mechanical failure after two months, weeks without my mower during peak mowing season, poor communication, and dismissive customer service. Called them, left voicemail. Tried calling them again the following morning, got the voicemail…read moreagain. Gave up as there was no response within a day. So I called another repair company. After making an appointment with someone else, someone I assume is Roger called me finally. The call did not go well. I stated: well, sir I never got a call back from you, so I arranged an appointment with someone else. He claimed I didn't leave a message. I said I did, yesterday... He then said "Oh, yeah...I was just about to call you back about that"...to which I responded, I needed the work done, and 20 hours had passed. He then said he didn't respond because I left the message "after hours"... I pointed out: I left the message at 10AM the previous day. He then acquiesced and stubbornly said "have a nice day". If you want business, return messages. If you want business, make sure you have a single phone number people can reach you at. (there's about 3 for this guy if you search the web)...but most importantly, if you want business...don't argue with a potential customer, or make excuses. Part of being in the service business, or any business is the skill of knowing when to own your mistakes. This was a pretty ridiculous experience.
