Frosted Birthday Cake and Unfrosted Birthday Cake
Ana Rocío A.

I want to preface this by saying I'm giving the review on behalf of my boyfriend and I, who each ordered 2 cookies on Friday night. I ordered the two birthday cake cookies -- unfrosted and frosted, and I loved them both. They were soft and full of dough in the middle. The frosting was fresh, it didn't taste like a hard frosting (I don't know how to explain myself). My boyfriend ordered the Oatmeal Raisin one, and said it wad good, and the Chocolate Chip one. He did't like that one because he could literally taste the pieces of sugar as if they weren't mixed well. He said it tasted well, but the sugar was too "chunky." Service was fast since we just ordered and the cookies were already in the showcase.

Left to right: original chocolate chip, peanut butter, unfrosted birthday cake

I ordered 3 cookies: original chocolate chip, peanut butter, and unfrosted chocolate chip. These cookies were SWEET. I have a sweet tooth myself and I'm glad I got the unfrosted birthday cake because the extra icing and sprinkles would've been way too much. The original chocolate chip was okay and the peanut butter was as expected. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 3 because the service was actually great, there was no wait for my order, and the cookies were very soft before I exposed them to the colder temps outside. I would like to try the walnut chocolate chip if I go back to CFW.

Cookies are too sweet. I wasn't impressed. It reminds me of Crumbl cookies, just looking for flash not to really have people enjoy the cookies..

Cookies were very good, not much wait times. Staff was a little rude and one worker was on their phone. Overall I would go because of how good the cookies were.

Cookies & Cream and Butter Waffle

We got 3 cookies for $4 each on Friday, 5/31/24. We went at 8:30 pm, so they were out of a lot of flavors. We got Cookies & Cream and Butter Waffle. The cookies were soft and perfectly crispy on the edges. But they tasted the same. The Butter Waffle cookie tasted nothing like butter or waffles. The Cookies & Cream cookie didn't taste like cookies and cream. There are better cookies in Atlanta.

Classic Choc Chip and S'mores cookie

This is located inside of The Works, which a super cool food hall with a lot of options. We got the classic chocolate chip and a s'mores cookie. Both of them were amazing! Super fresh and perfect amount of sweetness. They had a bunch of different cookies and look forward to going back and trying more!

Munster Cravings is another Tik Tok try for me. I have been trying all the cookie spots with my son. It's been our thing comparing them all. So this one is located in The Works off of Chattahoochee Ave. It's located in the food ball. Parking is free for the 1st 2 hours. It was kind of difficult to locate in the Food Hall. It's right by the Jamaican restaurant called Perfect Seasoning and the Philly G Steak. You can't miss it if you find those two. The Munster logo and signage do stand out once you see it. We went on the 4th of July late in the day, so many of the cookies were gone. We did get to grab a few cookies to sample. My son selected the Oreo cookie, and I went with the Walnut Chocolate chip. The cookies are large. Crispy outer edges and soft and delicious middle. My son said oreo had just the right amount of cookie pieces and soft. I love chocolate chip cookies with nuts. I usually like pecans, but this cookie was really good. The cookies run for $4 a piece. This is about the same price as other cookie businesses. The staff was friendly, considering we came close to closing. I would buy them again as a special treat here and there. I'd like to try some other flavors. There are some vegan cookie options.

#SouthernFoodReview Munster Cravings is located inside The Chattahoochee Food Works. I researched and read reviews before my trip to Atlanta cause I love me some cookies... so I was reeeeady!!! When I got there though... there really wasn't any direction of where to go. I just went as I was led and happened to go into a side door and walked and BOOM there it was! There was a small line (and I understand why) the staff was attentive and welcoming. ORDER: (2) Chocolate Chip Cookies (1) Southern Tea Cake Cookie Ran about $15 includ. tip. They were delicious and even stayed fresh all the way back to Los Angeles! Now that says A LOT!!! I recommend and I'll definitely return on my next visit to Atlanta!!! Note to Owner: Pssst... put one is LA, please! Lol (:

If you want the short rendition: Let's talk about how AMAZING these cookies are!!!!!! I wanted a dessert after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. I did a quick Yelp search and stumbled upon this gem. It is located at The Chattahoochee Food Works (cool spot to check out). The display container included various flavored cookies. I decided to keep it simple and ordered the chocolate chip cookie. I asked the cashier to make sure I get a soft one. He replied and said all of them are soft since they are cooked daily! Let me warn you- this cookie is not cheap! One cookie is $4!! I decided to sit on a bench and enjoy my treat. The first bite was amazing. I can't pit into words how great the cookie taste as well as the combination of the perfect texture. I really believe this is the best cookie I have had in a long time!! I am glad that this place is not in close proximity to me because I am sure I would want to indulge in the goodness of these cookies more frequently. Do yourself a favor and check out this spot!

OMG!! These cookies are amazing! They are perfectly baked and taste like homemade! Crunchy along the edges and soft and chewy in the middle. You can taste the butter and vanilla!! Mmmmm! Mmmmm! Mmmmmm! I ordered peanut butter, original chocolate chip, chocolate chip and walnut, & oatmeal raisin. The chocolate chips were ooey gooey and melted. Now the line may get a little long but it's worth the wait and moves pretty quickly.

Kaneka R.

If the line is short, don't wait, get your cookies because this spot is popular and a line will form quick! So many unique cookie flavors, service with a smile, and I love that the name of each cookie is written on the case. Seriously, they have perfected the cookie recipe, the right texture, so soft and chewy.

First things first, I will drive 20 mins for these or even 35+ with traffic. They're just that good! And, if you live in Atlanta you're aware of what traffic can be like - so that's saying a lot! They have a large variety of cookies to choose from. I've only tried a few and my favorites are Walnut Chocolate Chip, Caramel Pecan Chocolate Chip, and Peanut ButThe cookies are always moist, chewy on the inside, crisp on the outside. Bonus points: I've been here several times and I have never had a dry crumbly one. The person at the register always provides great customer service and is helpful with making suggestions - if you're unsure of what to get. There can be a line here, so if you pass by and there isn't one - jump on it. It's basically a cute stall located within Chattahoochee Food Works, just off the center of the Food Hall. No seating, but there is ample seating around CFW. If you're wondering if I'll be back. The answer is without a doubt!

It was small but I don't need the extra calories. It isn't 5 Star because they used 1 box for a small jet line which I was going to have in front of the shop. Before heading into Puttshack to celebrate my friends birthday I decided to take a peek inside of Saint Germain and pickup a treat or two. I've previously had pastries and coffees from Saint Germain and didn't have anything in mind, just greed lol. Let me say, I was so blown away by the selection. Everything was so beautiful! Pastries, chocolates and macarons of all colors and flavors, it was a feast for my eyes. I didn't even know where to start so I just randomly chose a dozen chocolates for her, 3 for another one of my girls and 2 macarons for myself. I wanted to get some pastries to take home but the employee assisting me said that they wouldn't last an hour. Before I left I ended up getting some of the French rum pastries that I love and never remember the name of - I love/hate that they had them displayed at the register, they know what they're doing! The selection of sweets, the customer service and the beautiful interior of the bakery really make this such a special place. Such a sweet treat no matter what you leave with.

It wasn't busy, just one other diner, and the staff was preparing the kitchen but took my order immediately. I enjoyed a glass of wine at the counter while I waited a short time for my order to be ready. The chicken parm sandwich was AWESOME. The bread was panini-style, the chicken perfectly cooked and still crispy, and the marinara sauce was spread with mayo for a fresh, hot and stupid delicious sandwich. The Italian chopped salad (with added prosciutto) was good, but was a little over-dressed and soggy (I had a 10 minute drive from The Works, but I think the red peppers plus too much dressing would have made this happen even eaten on-site). I'd recommend asking for the dressing on the side. But for the $3 prosciutto upcharge, there was a good amount so it was well worth it. After decades of fine dining, my wife and I hit a wall a few years ago. All the high-end…read morerestaurants (not just in Atlanta but everywhere) seemed to either be formal "fancy" dining with boring menus and crazy high prices, or chef-centric places more interested in showing off the kitchen's chops than providing an enjoyable experience for diners. We'd rather find a hole in the wall on Buford Highway. But with a big anniversary coming up, we thought we should go someplace nice. I chose Avize because the menu looked much more interesting and cohesive than any of the other fine dining options I checked out. I was not disappointed. It was one of the best meals I've had in Atlanta in years. Service was very attentive though, admittedly, we were one of only a couple of tables. The sommelier spent a long time with us discussing our tastes and recommending options before settling on a funky and delicious bottle from a small producer in France. For the first course we ordered venison tartare and ramp and morels three ways. The ramp and morel dish was a showcase, though the venison was probably the star of the evening. For mains I got the fermented carrot Bolognese. Delicious and well-executed, though probably less adventurous than the name suggested. The lamb definitely showcased the chef's skills, with four or five different cuts and preparations on the plate, but focused on flavor rather than showiness. We also shared two sides. The tartiflette - a cheesy, bacony potato dish - and fried artichokes in a delicious pesto cheese sauce. There were no disappointments. Every dish was inventive, beautiful, delicious and reminiscent of our time in Switzerland and northern Italy. It's also worth mentioning that the portion sizes were just right - we left full but not stuffed. Total came to under $300 including wine, tax and tip, which is quite reasonable for that level of food and service (the tasting menu is quite a bit more). All in all, it rekindled my hope that fine dining can break out of its rut.

We chose to self-park and made a reservation in advance for our anniversary dinner. It was my first time visiting, so I was amused by the life-size alpine goat décor in the center of the restaurant. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive, though it became a bit harder to find him toward the end of the dinner. That said, the other servers were also very professional and friendly. The food is good, though some dishes had unexpected flavors. Not bad, just not what I personally expected or preferred, but my boyfriend happily finished those dishes. We had: - Amuse-bouche: a complimentary starter from the restaurant - Pretzel bread with homemade butter: complimentary and perfectly balanced in flavor - Dandelion salad: a bit too sweet for my taste the more I ate it. The sweetness comes naturally from marigold pollen and nuts, but it was a bit much for me - Lemon pepper frog legs: slightly too salty and sour for my preference - Pomme rösti (trout roe with cream on crispy layered potato): this dish was good, though I kept thinking it looked like fried tofu - Jäger schnitzel: this chicken entrée was very good - Halibut: I didn't want the curry, so they kindly accommodated my request and served the curry on the side, even though it normally comes with the fish - Tiramisu for dessert, and they also brought us white pepper ice cream as a complimentary anniversary treat. That was a really nice gesture. The ice cream was refreshing with an interesting flavor Keep in mind that the complimentary bread will be charged if you request a second serving. If we had known, we probably wouldn't have ordered more. The server suggested the bread would pair well with the frog legs and asked if we wanted extra, so we went for it. However, the bread actually paired better with the butter than with the frog leg dish. When checking out, they give you a chocolate truffle in a mini chest. I loved the mini chest! Overall, we had a nice experience. Definitely recommended.
