Frosted Birthday Cake and Unfrosted Birthday Cake

I want to preface this by saying I'm giving the review on behalf of my boyfriend and I, who each ordered 2 cookies on Friday night. I ordered the two birthday cake cookies -- unfrosted and frosted, and I loved them both. They were soft and full of dough in the middle. The frosting was fresh, it didn't taste like a hard frosting (I don't know how to explain myself). My boyfriend ordered the Oatmeal Raisin one, and said it wad good, and the Chocolate Chip one. He did't like that one because he could literally taste the pieces of sugar as if they weren't mixed well. He said it tasted well, but the sugar was too "chunky." Service was fast since we just ordered and the cookies were already in the showcase.

I ordered 3 cookies: original chocolate chip, peanut butter, and unfrosted chocolate chip. These cookies were SWEET. I have a sweet tooth myself and I'm glad I got the unfrosted birthday cake because the extra icing and sprinkles would've been way too much. The original chocolate chip was okay and the peanut butter was as expected. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 3 because the service was actually great, there was no wait for my order, and the cookies were very soft before I exposed them to the colder temps outside. I would like to try the walnut chocolate chip if I go back to CFW.

So my wife and I traveled to Atlanta and ran into this spot. And the cookies are to die for. You simple must come and visit Munster Cravings!!! Simply the best!!! They even have a vegan cookies.

We got 3 cookies for $4 each on Friday, 5/31/24. We went at 8:30 pm, so they were out of a lot of flavors. We got Cookies & Cream and Butter Waffle. The cookies were soft and perfectly crispy on the edges. But they tasted the same. The Butter Waffle cookie tasted nothing like butter or waffles. The Cookies & Cream cookie didn't taste like cookies and cream. There are better cookies in Atlanta.

This is located inside of The Works, which a super cool food hall with a lot of options. We got the classic chocolate chip and a s'mores cookie. Both of them were amazing! Super fresh and perfect amount of sweetness. They had a bunch of different cookies and look forward to going back and trying more!

Munster Cravings is another Tik Tok try for me. I have been trying all the cookie spots with my son. It's been our thing comparing them all. So this one is located in The Works off of Chattahoochee Ave. It's located in the food ball. Parking is free for the 1st 2 hours. It was kind of difficult to locate in the Food Hall. It's right by the Jamaican restaurant called Perfect Seasoning and the Philly G Steak. You can't miss it if you find those two. The Munster logo and signage do stand out once you see it. We went on the 4th of July late in the day, so many of the cookies were gone. We did get to grab a few cookies to sample. My son selected the Oreo cookie, and I went with the Walnut Chocolate chip. The cookies are large. Crispy outer edges and soft and delicious middle. My son said oreo had just the right amount of cookie pieces and soft. I love chocolate chip cookies with nuts. I usually like pecans, but this cookie was really good. The cookies run for $4 a piece. This is about the same price as other cookie businesses. The staff was friendly, considering we came close to closing. I would buy them again as a special treat here and there. I'd like to try some other flavors. There are some vegan cookie options.

#SouthernFoodReview Munster Cravings is located inside The Chattahoochee Food Works. I researched and read reviews before my trip to Atlanta cause I love me some cookies... so I was reeeeady!!! When I got there though... there really wasn't any direction of where to go. I just went as I was led and happened to go into a side door and walked and BOOM there it was! There was a small line (and I understand why) the staff was attentive and welcoming. ORDER: (2) Chocolate Chip Cookies (1) Southern Tea Cake Cookie Ran about $15 includ. tip. They were delicious and even stayed fresh all the way back to Los Angeles! Now that says A LOT!!! I recommend and I'll definitely return on my next visit to Atlanta!!! If you want the short rendition: Let's talk about how AMAZING these cookies are!!!!!! I wanted a dessert after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. I did a quick Yelp search and stumbled upon this gem. It is located at The Chattahoochee Food Works (cool spot to check out). The display container included various flavored cookies. I decided to keep it simple and ordered the chocolate chip cookie. I asked the cashier to make sure I get a soft one. He replied and said all of them are soft since they are cooked daily! Let me warn you- this cookie is not cheap! One cookie is $4!! I decided to sit on a bench and enjoy my treat. The first bite was amazing. I can't pit into words how great the cookie taste as well as the combination of the perfect texture. I really believe this is the best cookie I have had in a long time!! I am glad that this place is not in close proximity to me because I am sure I would want to indulge in the goodness of these cookies more frequently. Do yourself a favor and check out this spot!

OMG!! These cookies are amazing! They are perfectly baked and taste like homemade! Crunchy along the edges and soft and chewy in the middle. You can taste the butter and vanilla!! Mmmmm! Mmmmm! Mmmmmm! I ordered peanut butter, original chocolate chip, chocolate chip and walnut, & oatmeal raisin. The chocolate chips were ooey gooey and melted. Now the line may get a little long but it's worth the wait and moves pretty quickly.

If the line is short, don't wait, get your cookies because this spot is popular and a line will form quick! So many unique cookie flavors, service with a smile, and I love that the name of each cookie is written on the case. Seriously, they have perfected the cookie recipe, the right texture, so soft and chewy.

First things first, I will drive 20 mins for these or even 35+ with traffic. They're just that good! And, if you live in Atlanta you're aware of what traffic can be like - so that's saying a lot! They have a large variety of cookies to choose from. I've only tried a few and my favorites are Walnut Chocolate Chip, Caramel Pecan Chocolate Chip, and Peanut ButThe cookies are always moist, chewy on the inside, crisp on the outside. Bonus points: I've been here several times and I have never had a dry crumbly one. The person at the register always provides great customer service and is helpful with making suggestions - if you're unsure of what to get. There can be a line here, so if you pass by and there isn't one - jump on it. It's basically a cute stall located within Chattahoochee Food Works, just off the center of the Food Hall. No seating, but there is ample seating around CFW. If you're wondering if I'll be back. The answer is without a doubt!

The cookies were good but they weren't amazing. They taste like something I've had before. There's nothing that truly stands out about them. Would I order again if I'm in the neighborhood? Yeah sure. We went to the location that opened in the works - super cute and trendy place. The cookies were amazing, super chewy and crunchy, the Oreo was very rich but also great, I couldn't eat more than half at a time. Taking 1 star off because it took a solid 15 minutes to find the storefront even though it's the first store in the food hall - not sure if it's just because they opened recently but there was absolutely no indication or way to tell this was monster cookies. Other than the inconvenience of looking around, the store location was prime, the cookies were great and tasted fresh and looked beautiful. Would highly recommend! read more

Tried the cookies. They were tasty. However the flavors I had tasted the same. The red velvet tasted like a sugar cookie. Perhaps they just add red dye and white chocolate chunks. The s'mores cookie was okay. However, due to packaging the marshmallows in the s'mores cookie cause the cookie to stick to the bottom of the box so the cookie was breaking apart a bit when removing it from the box. The service was pleasant. read more

All I can say is... I'll be back! My family order a variety of cookies. Our favorites for the night were the Snickerdoodle, Pumpkin spice, and --- one I didn't even have a chance to try before it disappeared. The fact that they were not too sweet and very moist has solid me on coming back to try something g else of theirs. These cookies are worth the struggle to find parking! They are priced at $4 a cookie, but they are pretty large and flavorful. We got a pack of six. The pb&j was the biggest hit! Everyone loved it. The others were great too. I loved s'more the best, but the lemon blueberry was a close second. It was just tart enough. The chocolate chip, brownie cookie, and birthday cake cookies were good as well but also basic cookies. The chocolate and brownie had little flakes of salt to cut the down the sweetness. Next time we are in Atlanta, I would love to try their other flavors. read more

Always out of cookies! Listen.. if you expect to be here next year you cannot run out of cookies 3 or 4 times a week! I was there at 6:07 on a day when you close at 9:00pm. This happens on a regular basis. Please if you don't have management background take a class on inventory management or supply logistics. It's a really bad look not to mention that the town people are beginning to bad mouth you for it. You appear to be a black owned business and they don't last in Tucker so you better up your game. It may be going good now but if you're in it for the long term, you have to do better. When the word gets out about how much sugar and trans fat are in your cookies, sales will drop. Trust. Ice cream shops and bakeries are closing all the time. People want to eat healthy these days. Good luck. read more

When visiting Georgia from California, and I love the Chattahoochee Food Works. When I saw this new cookie place open up, I was super curious. Honestly, Crumbl Cookie who?! These cookies are the best! The perfect crunch and softness, these are cookies that I will dream of. I got the Guava Cheesecake, my boyfriend got the Lemon Snowball, and we shared the S'mores. All three cookies are delightful! I wish I could've taken a bunch home, but my carry on luggage would've probably burst. read more

What to say about this place to explain how amazing these cookies are. I'm not even a big sweets person, my husband is. Although these cookies are $4 each...which you may say is ridiculous. And yeah it is but the cookies are delicious but not just sweet, the combination of flavors are just on point. Their pretty big cookies too. I had their pb&j. That was crazy good. Tasted better than the actual sandwich. You could taste the sweet peanut butter that is in the cookie and the slight jelly on top. Just perfect. This is my husband's favorite cookie place. Tried to order from Munster cravings a couple of days & had a challenging time getting accurate information to place an order and delivery for a dear friends's birthday in GA. I spoke with a nice lady at one location however she was new and just wasn't aware of of all of the processes. She was helpful in giving me a manager's contact phone #. I called several times and left a message. Finally, the next day, someone texted and simply explained "you would have to place an order door dash for delivery'. I've never used door dash and I wasn't sure how the whole process works. I never did get to speak with a live person to confirm anything. I texted back as well and never heard a reply. I also sent a message on their instagram page hoping someone would respond or reach out. Just felt deflated about the whole experience after this unfortunate customer service experience. Just had to move on to a different Bakery. I really wanted to patron after reading some of the reviews. read more

I was on Yelp searching for any dessert spots for cookies. One of the cookie stores I usually go to were closed for a few weeks so I stumbled across Monster Cookies. There were only a few pics on Yelp ....but the cookies looked so good that I went to there website and ordered a dozen or so. And O M freaking G! These cookies are heaven! They are soft and are ooey-gooey delicious. Everyone of us loved them. I ordered chocolate chip, Red velvet, strawberry, birthday cake, and the chocolate- chocolate..... Everything was superb! We had ice cream on the side while others had milk...my only complaint is that I should have ordered more! I highly recommend and will definitely order again. They only deliver with a $2.50 delivery fee I believe... and I tipped the driver. The cookies are $2.50 each and worth every dime! I am so happy my usual spot was closed cause had it not been, I wouldn't have tried Monster Cookies. read more

BABY BABAAYYYY. The cookies were a smash. So much so I doubled back in the same week. And I have the nerve to not know where the last 10LBS comes from. This place delivered and the richness of each cookie was amazing. The presentation and the actual size of the cookies made everything worth. Besides there are other food eateries in the mall. I suffered a cookie related disappointment when a gift from my sister failed to arrive. Hubby to the rescue! He found this local gem and had these amazing cookies delivered to our door! They are a good size and arrived still warm! My favorite was the chocolate chip walnut, but I could honestly eat these until they make me sick. They're all sooo good! Saw them while at The Works and the word vegan drew us in!! Love a good vegan cookie and this was so fire. It has a hump in the middle that kind of looks like is filled with frosting but it's not... maybe y'all should look into that tho haha. Still super good, great texture and flavor! read more

I stumbled upon this place in the Chattahoochee Food Works and I'm so glad I did! The chocolate chip cookie was the best I've ever had. Really chewy in the center bit slightly crispy on the edges. Perfect. I also had the confetti cookie (tasted like a sugar cookie). It was super delicious too, but the chocolate chip blew me away. I'm not a big sweets person so it takes a lot to make me eat a sweet treat. I will be back soon for these cookies! Monster Cookies is my must visit stall at Chattahoochee Food Works. They offer a rotating variety of cookies and I've tried most of them at this point. They're all really fantastic - soft and chewy with a great balance of ingredients. My personal favorite is the Fruity Pebble cookie - a sugar cookie with icing holding the colorful cereal on top. The S'mores cookie is another amazing choice and they use a torch to roast the marshmallows right in front of you. For best selection, come early because once they're sold out, that's it for the day. read more

The cookies here were pretty good, large and warm, but the vegan snickerdoodle tasted raw in the middle and they seemed overpriced to me. My biggest issue with this business is the inconsistency in their branding. The logo looked like it said "Monster Cravings" to me and that is what their truck says so I was confused about how to find them. read more

Boy am I glad that Monster Cookies has popups around the city! I was finally able to try these beauties and it was worth the wait! I ordered half a dozen cookies at $2.25 each and yes, they are worth it! I ended up trying the Birthday Cake, S'mores, Cinnamon Roll, and Strawberry. They are so soft, fresh, and bursting with flavor; everything you can ask for in a cookie. If you haven't tried them yet, I highly recommend them because once you try them, you will be hooked. read more

Seriously, these are the best cookies you will ever have. I'm not a huge chocolate person, and the fact that MC offers such a variety of flavors is what keeps me coming back, other than the fact that they are the most delicious cookies I've ever had the pleasure to put in my mouth. My top three has gotta be the strawberry, cinnamon roll, and bam bam (fruity pebbles), but they are ALL AMAZING, you gotta try this place. These are without a doubt, the BEST cookies in Atlanta! Every flavor is over the top delicious! My kids love the S'mores flavor, which they light with a mini blow torch, while you wait. My favorite are the Cinnamon Roll cookies and the Strawberry Shortcake! Seriously, I can't say enough about these cookies! We have never left with less than a dozen cookies and they are massive too! I started baking cookies when I had my youngest little girl. I had a major sweet tooth that just wasn’t getting satisfied by any of those store bought cookies. It was one of the best meals I've had in Atlanta in years. Service was very attentive though, admittedly, we were one of only a couple of tables. The sommelier spent a long time with us discussing our tastes and recommending options before settling on a funky and delicious bottle from a small producer in France. For the first course we ordered venison tartare and ramp and morels three ways. The ramp and morel dish was a showcase, though the venison was probably the star of the evening. For mains I got the fermented carrot Bolognese. Delicious and well-executed, though probably less adventurous than the name suggested. The lamb definitely showcased the chef's skills, with four or five different cuts and preparations on the plate, but focused on flavor rather than showiness. We also shared two sides. The tartiflette - a cheesy, bacony potato dish - and fried artichokes in a delicious pesto cheese sauce. There were no disappointments. Every dish was inventive, beautiful, delicious and reminiscent of our time in Switzerland and northern Italy. I am writing to express my utmost disappointment and disgust with the level of service at your establishment, Munster Cravings located at 1235 Chattahoochee Ave NW, Atlanta, GA. I recently visited your store and was shocked to find that there was no ingredients list provided, and worse yet, your staff was untrained and unable to provide me with the ingredients in the cookies. As a customer with food allergies, it is absolutely unacceptable that I should have to risk my health by consuming food without knowing what ingredients it contains. This is not only unethical but also dangerous, and I cannot believe that a business such as yours would operate in such a reckless manner. Your lack of consideration for your customers' health and safety is appalling and completely unprofessional.
