So glad we found this new breakfast joint at the river. Definitely a little hole in the wall in Needles but food is made fresh to order. Ordered two breakfast burritos, one bacon and one chorizo and they were outstanding. The potatoes were cooked and seasoned well, with just the right amount, and meat and eggs were blended evenly throughout the burrito. Their homemade hot salsa was on point and was the perfect size. Just enough to be full and satisfied and not feel overly gross for stuffing my face! Hubby and I went halfsies so we got to try both burritos. Very reasonably priced, like $5 each and fast service. They only take cash and plenty of parking curbside. The only bummer is that I came here in 12/30 and they were closed for NYE and NY day so we won't be able to come back for a while since we won't be back st the river until Spring. read more

Driving through, we made a quick pit stop to grab a Pollo Asado burrito (grilled chicken, guacamole, pico de Gallo) and it definitely hit the spot, as previous reviews mentioned. The gal at the register was super sweet. There were two reasons for knocking off a star 1. No masks :( 2. Our burrito was wrapped with the paper inside the tortilla... made it difficult to enjoy... but don't get me wrong, the burrito was worth extra effort. Service is great. The only decent mexican food in 50 miles. The problem I had this trip is ordering a carne asada burrito no cheese and I guess assuming (we know what that means) not saying all meat there would be beans and rice in my burrito. Well I should have said beans and rice along with the carne. So then I try to call and the number listed is telling me that it is not accepting calls at this time..... Sooooo now I'm thinking I will take the extra 5 min to go to Pancho Villas Mohave Valley AZ to get my mex fix from now on. read more

Awesome Amazing Huge Portions & Small Price I got a grilled chicken & cheese omelette -- the chicken was seasoned very well. I had yummy small pieces of chicken in every bite. My Bride got cheese enchiladas, rice & beans. Again very tasty & plentiful. We got their chips -- hot, tasty & lots of them. The chips were still hot when I arrived home. Great place to spot by for good food if passing through. I got the chorizo breakfast burrito with egg cheese and potato. It's delicious. Full of flavor and hearty. All ingredients cooked well, and flavors complemented each other and I haven't gotten heartburn (I'm sensitive to greasy foods) --- another plus!! When I entered it was empty - around 1:30pm. But the town isn't that bustling, so not a surprise. Guy at register was super friendly and informative of food. Food was ready to go around 5-6minutes. Pretty standard for "fast food". Restroom was small and venue overall was hot but it's in the desert where there's not a lot of foot traffic. read more

As advertised...a small hole in the wall place with really good food. On our way to the Grand Canyon from SoCal we stopped for breakfast burritos (hubby got #1-bacon, egg, cheese and potato; I had special order egg/bean/cheese...not on the menu). The staff were very accommodating and the portions are large. We liked the food so much we stopped by on the way home. Too bad it was a Sunday and they were closed. We will be back. It's a taco shop. It scared me when I saw non Mexican foods on the menu. I live by the creed that if a place says American and Chinese or American and Mexican or the one in San Diego that says American-Chinese-Mexican the run like hell the other way. But this hole in the wall shop was awesome on our trip back from Flagstaff. Very friendly woman at the register, must be some damn fine cooks in back because the food is great. I had a carne asada burrito. She asked if I wanted guacamole and pico de gallo inside. Yes! It was like an excellent San Diego C.A. Burrito before chipotle taught that you could add a crap ton of rice to a burrito to fool people into thinking they got a deal. Tender asada, creamy guac and fresh not too oniony pico and the end of the burrito has that awesome lime/beef juice in and on the tortilla. The spicy salsa was good not too spicy though but I guess enough. The mild for my wife was watery as some have commented and IMHO and hers. 13 yo had a very large and good shrimp taco and loved it. Wife had the chicken taco plate and ate like 20%, so big. She loved the chicken, beans and rice but said the corn tortillas were stale-ish on the edges. But if that's her only complaint...... It's down by the old Santa Fe rail station north of the 40 and kind of a rough and ready area but I didn't feel sketchy at all. Small with a bunch of regulars and guys working nearby with maybe three tables on the wall sides so we found a park near the high school up the hill SW and ate by the softball fields. 13 state championships over the years on the scoreboard. Definitely in my gps and on my mind for next pass that way. Sign said closed 10/22-23/22 for a street festival where they'll be serving street tacos, if ya go that way. Wow!!! Yelp really came for through for us on this one. We stopped here while heading back to Missouri after a long vacation in California. During our 17 day road trip, we ate at a lot of "counter service" restaurants, and this was one of out favorites. There are a few negatives (gross bathroom, very small, hot, cash only), but the excellent food, price, and service more than made up for it... and it truly deserves 5 stars (relative to other counter service restaurants.) The place is small and was already busy before our party of 11 piled in. There was only one person working up front, a teenager who was really on top of his game. He was really friendly and helpful, and he worked HARD to provide great service to everyone who came in. I hope his supervisor reads this, because he deserves a pat on the back. Prices were extremely reasonable and portions were large. I would eat here several times a week, if I didn't live 1,400 miles away! All of our food was excellent, and my asada tacos were amazing. I wish that I was eating one now! Just off the highway and definitely worth the stop! read more

I love this place. It's across the street from the Needles, Ca. depot, nothing better than grabbing a Carne Asada soft taco ($2.99 with tax) before and after work. A meal in itself. I've been assured that everything is fresh. I don't doubt it having seen a cook scoop at least a dozen avocados for the amazing guacamole that seems to be on everything. The pico de gallo is also great. The crispy tacos are fried soft tacos, they seem more like empanadas with meat in them. Still good though. Free Chips and Salsa when eating in, the hot sauce has a little kick. Tasty. read more

Used to work across the street and thought I'd yelp this place as I remember getting several burritos there over the course of years. The owners and staff are very nice and used to making food for railroaders who need it before the train shows up, so it's fast and very reasonably priced. Many times I was short on cash (they only take cash) and they comped me a drink or just took whatever I gave. I always tried to make up through tipping on subsequent visits. I hope no one reads that as an invitation to take advantage, just saying that's the type of people who run this place. You don't find service like that much any more. The burritos were consistently good, and they do accommodate special requests. Good green sauce as well. Highly recommend stopping in if you are passing through. read more
