Stopped in for lunch was greeted sat down. The food is freshY fresh ingredients come out hot. Are waitresses always nice and accommodating. Bring our drinks out quickly. The almond cookies are a must before the meal. We were there for lunch. They have some great lunch specials 11 to 3. And their dinner menu is very good. Parking in the back parking in the front. The restaurant was remodeled. Nice family stop on the way to the river or the way home. read more

Really easy to locate, it's close to i40, small parking lot but I noticed a lot of orders were take out so really not a major problem. Server seemed to struggle with our order when we requested our appetizer while we made our main dish decision. She sent another waitress over and it took a bit of explaining what we wanted. They probably do not get requests like ours. Drinks and appetizers served pretty quickly once they understood what we wanted. Main dish took longer but it was served fresh and hot. Serving sizes were abundant. Taste was amazing. I'll definitely be going back. read more

A friend brought me for lunch..all of my hesitation was quickly diminished! Wonderful staff gave us a friendly greeting, the ambiance is comfortable not flashy. The Lunch Specials at $9 could not be beat, they come with choice of soup, egg roll or wonton and entree with side. I had amazing egg drop soup, I would go back just for that, I also had the wonton and Broccoli Beef with steamed rice. The guy seemed very friendly but the lady was rude, not sociable and when I shared that the Kung Pao Chicken tasted off and I asked if I could exchange it she said no. Then the guy and her were chatting and then she came back to my table and removed the Kung Pao Chicken from our table and bill. That's great but I'm still hungry. Stayed in local hotel and decided to have Chinese for dinner. When we found this place I noticed they don't have an outdoor sign posted on the property or building. Kind of odd. Parking lot was about 2/3 full. A good sign. When we entered place was almost full. Great smell too! On a review I had read earlier they said it had a 79's vibe going on. I would definitely agree! All the classic American Chinese fare here. We were given our drink & made are orders. We had Garlic Shrimp, Sweet n Sour Chicken & Orange Chicken. Egg rolls for appetizer. They were very fresh and delicious. The Garlic Shrimp was very good with lots of crispy veggies. The Sweet n Sour Chicken was the best. It was everyone's favorite. The Orange Chicken was OK, but not very Orange in flavor. It was very Orange in color. In all our dinner was fresh, hot and very good. Would highly recommend this place. By the time we left there were no tables available with people waiting to get in. Seems like a Locals go to place. Take out was big also. While visiting my parents we came here for dinner one night. It's one of my parents favorite Chinese restaurants. I can agree. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered so much food to eat family style. We got to try so many dishes. Everything was absolutely delicious but the Mongolian Beef was my favorite. Also order the appetizer ribs. The meat falls off the bone. They even sold my favorite almond cookies. I haven't seen those and had them since I was a kid. If you are in this area stop here. read more

We stopped in the City of Needles on our return drive from the Grand Canyon. At the time, we were craving Chinese food and we were able to find this hidden gem thanks to Yelp. The exterior of the restaurant is very unassuming. In fact, I didn't see any Panda Garden signage anywhere. The service is not overly friendly but adequate. My daughter and I ordered the Pork Lo Mein and the Shrimp Noodle Soup and they both really hit the spot. They provided generous servings of pork and shrimp which I appreciate, and the texture of the noodles was on point and to my liking. My only knock on the place was the H2O. We asked for a few glasses of water and the water tasted like it came straight out of a rusty tap. Judging from our brief visit, Needles appears to be a fairly desolate town but Panda Garden is worth a try if you ever find yourself in the neighborhood. read more

I just might have found the most delicious Chinese restaurant! I had beef broccoli and was surprised at how delicious it was. It was served piping hot, so hot I had to let it cool down before I could enjoy it. Even the steamed rice was very hot. I know there was a previous review about someone having a cold dish. I also saw a review about the interior being dated. Well, both those concerns have been addressed. The decour is simple and was recently refreshed. Back to the food, I was completely surprised at how fresh and crisp the vegetables were. They were flavorful, not the bland stuff you often get at other restaurants. The sauce was also delicious. The staff was very attentive and greeted me as soon as I entered. As I left, I was given a 'goodbye' as well. Who would have thought that in tiny Needles, CA that I would have some of the best Chinese food I have ever had? I now wish I hadn't played it safe and gone with beef and broccoli. I imagine their other dishes are just as wonderful. If I am ever in the area, I will make it a point of stopping in. read more

My brother and I have always driven by this place while driving to our home in Bullhead City, Arizona but on July 1st we finally tried it. I was at our home in Bullhead City when my brother told me that he had ordered take out for the two of us. When he got to the house we ate dinner and we were both extremely impressed with the food. We ordered 2 egg rolls, Kung Pao Chicken and Mongolian Beef. We were surprised that it come with brown rice instead of white rice. Everything was absolutely delicious and we could not eat it fast enough. The chicken in the Kung Pao was supper tender and flavorful as well as the beef. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. The price for all the food was excellent, just a little over $21.00. We ordered off the Lunch Special menu. Thanks Panda Garden. I will definitely be returning when we come to the river again on Labor Day Weekend. read more

Food is phenomenal here. Best cashew chicken I have ever had. Real cashew chicken, not the fried gravy stuff you get in the Midwest. It's nice and fresh too! Steamed dumplings are tasty. My husband loves the sweet and sour chicken, I personally have not tried it but he is very picky and stops here every chance he can and cries when they aren't open when he rolls through. Needless to say it must be good for him to stop for Chinese. Service is adequate, the place is clean. If you walk here from a truck stop or motel that is across the street, make sure you do not cross the street in the dark right outside the door to the restaurant. It is dark and the curb is a good foot or more to the street. It can be dangerous if you're not paying attention. read more

The food was good until it wasn't... The night after eating Panda Garden I had really bad food poisoning. I was throwing up all night, morning, and afternoon. I was sick for a week and all because I ate this food. It's not just me either a couple of people from this city have gotten sick from their food. This place needs to be shut down. But the service is so horrible and the two Chinese workers were racist towards us because we are Hispanic. we ordered a hot sour soup and it wasn't even heated they showed annoyance when we politely asked if they could heat it up more. Even worse when we got our bill we again POLITELY asked if they could explain the bill because we couldn't understand what was being charged and yet again with the longest face they attended us while speaking their language.
