Wow! stumbled across this place for lunch on our way to Laughlin. we had a couple of tacos and a carne asada burrito. Both were great and flavorful. enjoyed the fresh chips and salsa as well. We enjoyed it so much we stopped for breakfast on the way home. The chorizo burrito and rolled tacos were great as well. Good flavors, great flour tortillas and this time tried the green salsa that had the right amount of kick and flavor. Service on both occasions was fast and super friendly. You can't beat the prices either. Wish they were closer to home but we will be back on our next trip. read more

I discovered this place on my last day in Needles and remember thinking that was too bad because it was some of the best Mexican food I've had outside of Texas. Their regular mild salsa was superb but when I asked for something a little spicier, she gave me some so I made my own mixture which was great! I wound up having to return to Needles much sooner than I thought due to some needed RV repairs, but I thought one of my consolidations was coming back here to eat. I'm from Northern California and when I'm in the area for work I will always eat here. If your passing through it is worth a stop for very affordable, quick and authentic Mexican food. The only other options in this area are fast food and Denny's. If you like home cooked food that is cheaper than the chain restaurants and a convenient location from the freeway exit than I highly recommend. Very nice folks, easy to get to, easy parking. My faves are the shrimp burrito and carnitas. The tacos are huge and filling. If you like to thrift there are a couple of great store on the same block. Enjoy :) read more

This place has great tasting, authentic mexican food, and friendly service. It is literally a hole-in- the-wall dining joint on Front Street in front of the BNSF station. Erica and her husband cook up some delicious and authentic plates from rolled tacos (taquitos), to breakfast burritos (chorizo, ham, or bacon). The breakfast burritos are excellent! And you can call your order in ahead of time and pick up, although service is pretty quick if you decide to dine in. It's small inside but they have a few tables and chairs, and the place is clean. After reading the Yelp reviews, we parked in front of this hole-in-the -wall at 12:15 for lunch. We were the only ones there. Ordered at the counter. I asked the friendly woman what was good and she said, "Everything." This was no help. I ordered machaca and my wife ordered rellenos. Chips were hot but the frying oil tasted rancid or old. The salsa was bland and bitter. My wife's relleno was soggy and had an off taste. My machaca beef was like an omelette, with egg, green chiles and tomatoes--very dry. It was just OK. Overall, Munchy's did not rate a 4 1/2 star rating. This is quick, cheap, filling food but little care seems to be taken to make it tasty. --Steve & Vickey read more

We are staying at the quality inn and the people downstairs said the only food that is here is the jack in the box and the McDonald's but I saw this place on maps. So glad we chose munchys. We hiked the Grand Canyon yesterday and we're starving. Great food. So inexpensive and so much great food. found this place one day a week ago driving back from Yuma made wrong turn onto Front St. very good food quick service and the place is Spotless from top to bottom...and also cheap I was in the L.A. area the week before I paid 9.25 for a burrito at this drive thru that I have been too many times before all I can say is Munchies was so much better and 3 dollars cheaper,, going today to get to get some food for lunch it may be 15 miles from my house but worth every mile of the drive,,, tried a lot of places around here ok but they never get the order right ,so if ever in Needles Ca. check out Munchies read more
