The servers are all pretty nice, but you order from an inside window and they'll call you up when you're order is ready. The inside isn't very big, but it's roomy enough for a small lunch crowd and there are decorations on the walls. All in all it's good, but could be better if they wanted to. They need to up their game now that there is some really good competition just about 8 miles further up the road. Chucks is pretty good for where it's at, but if you want to be good, be good, and work at it. Now they are just open from Thursday through Sunday. But if you were Really good, you could have it packed every day of the week and open for lunch and stay busy until you sell out in the late afternoon!! That way you wouldn't burn yourself out trying to have enough for the lunch crowd and waiting through a slack period in between lunch and dinner. Make though to pack them in for lunch but put your heart in it so people will be giving to get there for lunch!!! Once you run out, close shop, clean up and get ready to do it again the next day. People realize the cost of everything is high, but don't cut back trying to keep prices down. If you're product is good people don't mind paying for good food!!!

I had the most incredible experience at Neil's. I was in Beaumont to attend my uncle's funeral…read moreservice, and was reading about Neil's on....well, Yelp . So...I set the GPS, and decided to drive to Lumberton. Neil's is located in a convenient store and the folks I met inside were very nice. The lady behind the counter helped me order...which I was very grateful for. While waiting in line, I started a conversation with three gentleman. They were very pleasant and somehow we got on a discussion about my military service. We talked for a bit, and they thanked me for my service. As a was getting ready to pay for my meal, the young lady behind the register told me it was already paid for. I said...are you sure?! She showed me the money that was left behind for my food, and I couldn't believe it, so I asked her again, and she said...yes, this is for you. I remember shaking the hand of the elderly gentleman who was at the register before me...I never got his name. As he walked out he again said "thank you for your service". When i went to look for him, he was gone as quick as he was there. I was humbled and emotional. To the gentleman that paid for my meal, I want to say thank you for your unselfish act of kindness, and may God continue to bless and keep you. By the way...the food was great! I had fried catfish and wings. Definitely recommend!

The owner said, "isn't the first time, won't be the last." Obviously quality and customer don't matter here. Their only solution was to remove the nachos from ticket, when no one in the party was able to even finish their meals. The most most appropriate recourse would have been to comp the entire ticket, or at least discount a significant amount. Not looking for a free meal, just looking for a meal we could actually eat with no bugs in it.
