It seemed to me that they don't understand that bagels need to be proofed twice. We tried two bagels, cheese/jalapeno and blueberry. The blueberry taste was ok, but the bagel was a chunk of lead. The cheese/jalapeno, my go-to, had zero cheese, as far as I could tell, and not much jalapeno. And, again, a chunk of lead. The coffee was very good, but why is the medium so small and they didn't fill it? It's definitely a NO!

When I tell you my friend's coffee was bad, it was bad enough I would tell you to go get burnt bean water from a major national coffee chain before getting it here... and the whole coffee interaction was so very bizarre... When they brought it to her, they handed it to her in a way the lid popped off and when she attempted to take it from them to sip the coffee, as it was overfull, so she could put the lid on, the guy pulled it back away from her as she's saying "it's fine" and takes it back out of her hand, walks back to the kitchen sink, and dumps out a good inch at the top before putting the lid back on and bringing it back to her. It was really weird to insist on taking it out of her hand and super odd choice to try to solve an ill-fitting lid by dumping out part of the drink she paid for. The way he took it from her weirded us out. It was not helpful and friendly, it was insistent and domineering. We immediately wanted to get out of there and get to the car... and the lid pops off again and again, every time she picks it up. The worst part is that afterward she noticed white dry powdery crud settled at the bottom, not mixed in. No clue what it was, but our best guess was they use some sort of powdered soy milk and they didn't mix it in correctly. TL;DR - Get your coffee anywhere else.

We arrived early for a medical appointment in the area and decided to get some coffee here. I was…read morecaught off guard by 1) how tiny the inside is, and 2) there was a rack of fresh bagels!!! I honestly had no idea this place was here... and with bagels! I don't get bagels locally because, well, just because. I happily ordered us coffee and bagels. Now, bear in mind, we roast our own coffee, so to us, the coffee was on the "good" side of Ok. The bagels, on the other hand, were delicious! And boy, do they pack on the cream cheese (maybe enough for 3 bagels depending on one's preference)! Service was friendly and fast. And all the people coming and going were very pleasant - there were plenty of them. The sitting area outside next to the road is pretty small (next to a dumpster, I think), and my guy was having some mobility challenges (on crutches, etc.). Folks in the neighboring table were so kind and accommodating, voluntarily standing up so that he could maneuver into a seat. We went back the following week (yes, another medical appt), and this time they were out of the bagels we wanted, so note to self... get there early if you want a favorite bagel. She walked in, stood by the door picking her ear knuckles deep and rolling the earwax in her finger tips. Turns around and says 'oh i didnt see you, how can i help you?' Turns around and darts directly for the bagel that i choose. WITHOUT even thinking about washing her hands. Dirty rag and ear wax freshly dripping from her finger tips. I felt bad but i had to ask her to wash her hands first. SO, she went ahead and dabbed a bit of hand sanitizer on her hands and went on to massage my bagel sandwich! Bro, what happened to sanitary etiquette!! Just nasty. Never again at this pit.

They do have mugs and glasses available which I always get to avoid using single use ware. But the Classic Avocado Toast, oh MY!! Delicious and full of avocado (which my pic didn't quite capture). Watermelon radish added beauty. Wasabi mayo added a nice tart, tangy flavor. Delicious bread too. Coming back again for that soon!!
