Just heard an advanced copy of the new Drew Torres album. This album is fire! It was an advanced…read morecopy, like I said, so it didn't have any album artwork, but the CD still looked professionally copied, so I looked into it further. On the CD there was a little insignia of 1176 studios promoting the services of recording, mixing & mastering. The CD itself was produced, mixed & mastered by Jon Santos, who upon further investigation, is pretty well- acclaimed in the music industry. Turns out he has done some work that can be found in video games & movies while he was signed under Wind Up records. This explained the GREAT sound on Drew Torres' CD. After looking up the studio online, I found videos & graphics that were done also by Jon Santos. It is great work for someone who is still trying to make a big name for himself in the music industry. The studio seems to offer FANTASTIC prices for recording, music videos & marketing strategies. I was once in the underground music scene & would have loved to have had such a cool & well-priced service available to me & my band. Inside the CD package was a business card for Mo Samad, Director of Marketing, as well. Hope this review helps all the unsigned hype out there looking to make an impact on the music industry.
