The set up seems pretty efficient really. You land and enter on one side of the airport and arrive, enter, and depart from the other. This makes things pretty easy for customs and such.
There are three terminals now and another one is being constructed as I type this review. Our driver told us all about it on the way back. Very chatty dude!

Margaritaville is always a good time if you partake in the libations. They have a Guy Firebird or whatever there too. The duty free is only a deal because of reduced taxation. I found the items to be slightly higher than normal retail, at least for liquor.
All in all it did what I needed it to do. Fly in, fly out, not get searched on the way in, or the way out.
Not sure if I will come back to Cancun or not. I may have had my fill. We will see if I can score another 100% paid vacation next year for work! If so, I will see you again Amigos!! If not, it will be ok! ;)
