My friend was craving a good burger, and Dempsey's did not disappoint. We shared the two burgers we ordered and thoroughly enjoyed both. We also shared a basket of their truffle fries with all of their homemade sauces--and probably 90% of those fries went home with us because we were just too full! Service was friendly and helpful, and I loved the unique atmosphere. The restaurant is in a converted house (as is the entire block), with the bar tucked away in the basement. There's also plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy during nice weather. If you haven't tried Dempsey's yet, definitely add it to your Wichita list!

We were immediately greeted by the host and another server arguing over who was going to seat us. Once we were seated and ordered, we waited about 30 minutes for our burgers and fries. When the kids' meals came out, the orders were incorrect, and the basket of fries we received was extremely stale and hard. We let our server know, and she took the fries back. We then waited another 25 minutes for the kids' corrected meals and a new basket of fries. Our server told us that the kids' meals and fries would be comped, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, when the food finally arrived, the fries were once again cold and stale. At that point, we were frustrated and just wanted to leave. Our server brought us the check, and we were shocked to see that everything was still charged. Nothing had been comped as we were told it would be. Mistakes happen, but the combination of poor service, long wait times, incorrect orders, stale food, and then being charged for items we were specifically told would be comped made this a really disappointing experience. We came in as a family hoping to enjoy a meal together and left feeling completely frustrated.

My boyfriend and I wanted a place to have a few beers, eat and chill. He suggested Mulligan's. I had never been. It was solid in every way and surprising in others. They are a neighborhood bar and apparently locally owned. There is music in the bathroom (and tasteful pics of some hunks)! The pizza was recommended and it was very good. The beer was cold and priced well below national chains. Service was prompt and friendly. We will be back. I really have no issues, they do who they are, if that makes sense. If everything is this solid next time, I'm moving them to 5 stars. read more

Once was a ok place to go but seems to went down hill ,Food was nasty , and waitresses was snotty , a bunch of thugs starting fights and bar tender and waitresses seem not to care , i seen a women get almost killed that from what i could see she was doing nothing but ignoring the thugs . o and by the way the thugs i hope are in jail . just saying, so if you a friendly atmosphere and want to enjoy your time out and the food you i definitely WOULD NOT GO HERE. i know i won't the good reviews this place did have are old this place should close down instead of becoming a thug dump. read more

For event spacing it's a good decent size to host your corporate functions or launch events. Both sides as you walk in have bar areas. A main large stage in front for the live acts or demonstrations. Both sides of the floor have elevated VIP sections witih couches and tables. A second floor terrace also provides a bar area with a large amount of space for private VIP tables. Bathrooms on the main floor are a bit of a tight squeeze and lines can be long. The space is in the far west side of chelsea with no close by mass transit which is kind of a pain. read more

Great sports bar on the east side. They have huge tvs with different sports games. Drinks are always reasonably priced, especially on Thursdays!
