The food was excellent and the service as well. They have some senior waiters who go out of their way for guests. I have one major complaint which I discovered at the latest event which was held in the Athena room. To go to the washrooms is a major treck up many stairs and down a hall. I missed the speaches because my timing was bad and it took THAT long to get there and back. The Chateau is beautiful but it has this unfortunate flaw.

That's what they did with the appetizers. 180 people eating from one plate of calamari.. with their hands. You might as well have just spit in the food. Why not putting plates on the table? I'd rather eat from a plate with 11 other people than the 180 you made us eat from. I already feel sick. We all paid 180$ and you can't give us each a plate of calamari? You gave us the absolute worst salad I think I've ever had in my life. How do you mess up a salad?? You put Lettuce cauliflower and olive oil??? The Chicken was dry and absolutely unseasoned. No salt. No Pepper. Just Dry cold chicken with gravy not as bad as the salad but close second. When I complained I couldn't even find a manager because he was hiding so the wait staff told me "why are you complaining, you are the only one complaining" who says that. You are thief's who hunt for the biggest profit margins not worrying about your clients experience. Never book. Never go. Save your money and throw a party at home. The only bartender that knew what they were doing what the woman who did a good job. The other little boy who was working the bar seemed too young to even drink alcohol was just a waiter forced to work the bar and made absolutely horrible drinks. You had this "whole" waitstaff but couldn't even bus tables. We were left with literally 50 cups and plates on all of the tables. What a joke of a hall. Lets recap, imagine paying 180$ and you get 3 soggy chewy calamari's which you don't know if it's from wet hands from other people, lettuce on a plate that is a sorry excuse for a "salad" and 1 piece of dry unseasoned chicken with a gravy not even a dog would eat. We had our wedding here a couple months ago, and dealt with this hall for a year prior in getting…read moreeverything ready, and I really don't have much to say in the negative sense.. Le Crystal is a beautiful set of reception halls that have been recently renovated. It has an awesome reputation within the community, and these two things put together were the reason we wanted to have our wedding reception there! Upon showing up in August 2012, hoping for a summer 2013 wedding, we were told that the hall was fully booked for 2013 except for a date in April and one in September..That was something we had to struggle with..Either forget the summer wedding, or have it either somewhere else or a year later.. We decided to forego the summer wedding dream, and settle for one in the fall (good thing we did - perfect weather for a huge puffy dress!). We found Joe to be extremely easy to deal with, and signed all the paperwork. He also gave us lists of suggested vendors based on the reviews of couples who've had their weddings there, and so that was a good starting point for us to start planning. Throughout the year, we only contacted them once or twice, but once the 1 month-to-go mark hit, I think I called Joe at least once a week if not more. He was very very nice, and always extremely courteous and helpful. The night of, everything went without a hitch. They were extremely organized in having everything we wanted go right according to plan, the food was plentiful and phenomenal (we still have guests raving about it!), the hall was great, and the service was awesome. They really made everything so easy for us, and I can say with confidence that we do not regret choosing that hall AT ALL (which isn't something you'll hear from us about many of our vendors...........). Le Crystal is amazing, Joe is amazing, and we would most definitely recommend this hall to anyone getting married or looking to throw a party! 5 stars!

My friend held her wedding reception in the room upstairs on the right. There's a large area at the…read moreback that can be opened up for cocktail hour. The space easily held 30+ tables with lots room to get around and for a dance floor in the center. I guess what is offered during cocktail hour depends on what package the couple has purchased but I was impressed with this particular one. There was a whole fish, a staff member stationed by a machine to slice prosciutto, cheese table, another staff member cooking shrimp so that it was freshly made and so much more. The food was cooked well. I admired that the steak wasn't horribly over cooked with the amount that had to be plated and served. My friend said that the staff had her and her husband feeling like a king and queen with the attention and service they experienced. There was a baptism downstairs with another wedding across the hall that we could hear the music blasting away when we had speeches on our side. Overall, it was a great venue with excellent food and service.
