We picked the game The wizard four and the book of black arts which is for 4-10 players and they recommend at least 8 people to do this room. Everyone gets a wand to start that is used to activate various different parts and items in the room. The game master is also part of the story and if you need any help or guidance you can do so by calling out the name of the character. I love that they integrate it into the game, all other escape rooms I've done you just get a walkie talkie. It was a great experience and moderately challenging. I recommend! *Slight spoilers ahead* I also loved that they had an actor be a part of the experience, it added a layer of theatricality that I haven't seen in other escape rooms. Usually the person who lets you in the room is dressed up or is part of the explanation of the room but rarely have I seen them be in the room later on as part of the story. The only criticisms I have about the rooms is that when we solved a puzzle or unlocked an area, it wasn't obvious where the change happened so we needed to be reminded to look around because we had accomplished something and there was a clue to pick up but there was no announcement so we never knew if it had worked or not. There was also a puzzle that was completely in the dark so it was necessary for me to use my phone which usually is a big no for escape rooms but it was truly too dark to see. We wasted maybe 10 minutes trying to find this last clue so I believe we could've solved the room a lot faster had we known. There is no timer in the room but you can always ask the game master to let you know how much time is left. We solved it with 8 minutes to spare!

My wife is…read more9 months pregnant, it was her birthday, we never did an escape room but talked about trying one...way not lets do it ! so we gathered a group of friends, I choose the POP- an 80's theme escape room that was perfect for us 80's kids :) The room is for one hour, it took us almost 55 min (with 3 clues) boy what a fun experienced I loved every minute of it can wait for my next escape room, and this place will defiantly be my choice extremely well organized, very themed and cool staff.

With A/Maze, I find that they focus a lot more on making sure you have fun and are challenged not to the point of frustration but really to push your thinking. -You get unlimited hints which is already something I didn't think was possible, the room is never locked so if you need to go to the bathroom or need a breather you can leave at any time (I do find that this takes you out of the game setting though), -You get a walkie talkie to communicate with the game master but there's also a button near the door which can summon him if anything, -You get a very strong flashlight, -If ever something doesn't work, the game master will come and fix it and will add additional time for the time lost on the faulty clue (our iPad was dysfunctional and they added an extra 10 minutes for it) -As well as when he comes in the room to explain something, the timer will be paused. My friends and I loved our time here, it was a lot of fun and we would definitely do another game.

Came here for my first Montreal escape experience and it was way better than I expected! Having…read moredone many escape rooms in Ottawa, I already had an idea in my mind or what it might be like, but it definitely exceeded expectations. We chose the bank robbery escape room and it was super cool because of the different techy touches. We had 45 minutes and sadly did not escape, but it was still an awesome experience! We were tempted to turn around and do another one right after. The staff were helpful and informative, and it's in a really convenient location. I particularly like that they have storage chests for any bags or jackets that you don't want to (or can't) bring in with you. Price wise it was about $30 per person, but it's totally worth it for the amount of fun you can have. If you haven't already, definitely check it out and give it a shot!

We met with the owner of this location and he personally managed some of our rooms. He is truly an enthusiast and constantly upgrades his rooms and tweaks it for the better. Their best room Castle of Eternal Suffering is a sleeping diamond. It is currently 19th best in the world on Tribeca but our entire group believes it will jump to top 10 by next year. Besides that room I highly suggest their Falderon forest, and the bar related one. All so good and very strong focus on the narrative story.

I did seven of their rooms, and was amazed at how different they all felt, while still all being high quality games that I was excited to be playing. It is hard to find this much variety in escape rooms in a single company, or find such high quality rooms, let alone both in the same building. There really is something here for everyone, in terms of difficulty, theme, and type of experience. To top it off the customer service is excellent, and the prices are impossible to beat. I can't recommend Sauve Qui Peut enough, and I plan on flying back across the continent for their new game once it is available.

For someone who doesn't drive I am pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this activity…read more The staff is very nice want to come in you give your name and because it's Covid they do check that you do have your vaccination passport. once you pay they give you a head cover that is worn under the helmets you can either keep your mask or you can take it off because the head cover they give you acts as a mask and as a barrier against the helmet. (You will look like a ninja with the black head cover - they give it for you to keep or toss after you're done). Once a group is ready they bring you into the side room for someone to give you instructions on the signals the the different flags and the meetings of each flag as well as instructing you how the pedals work. Again being that I was the only one who didn't have a license and I'm afraid to drive I was feeling really nervous and scared. They call your name and give you the number of which car you'll drive. As I started going the first her and I was a little wobbly but after the first laugh I let go and honestly it was a lot of fun it was exhilarating adrenaline going and just a good way to free any pent-up energy. I love this so much I'll end up going a second time and because it was so easy to maneuver with the right pedal which would generally be your gas pedal you only use that to go and you slowly lift your foot off the pedal to be able to slow down or to even break. You don't use the other pedal which is the brake pedal at all because the right pedal slows you down as you lift up your foot. I took one star off because of the pricing it's $25 for eight minutes which would give you 12 to 13 laps. But just thinking about $25 before tax for that little time is pretty expensive but I do understand the cost of the place the machines the cleaning the everything but overall it's just a little expensive. This was a activity that I really enjoyed with my significant other and I would have like to make it a monthly activity but because of the pricing it's not some thing that is sustainable to do every month. I definitely courage you to go in groups for birthdays friday activity it's definitely a lot of fun. For some people am I give them a sense of nausea or heartache because of how fast you turn on the curves and sometimes you get bumped into the walls but it is definitely worth at least one try. If driving in real life was exactly like driving at the go carts I would already have my license!
