Let me put it this way, I wouldn't go back even if you paid for me to go there. Everything about…read morethis place is just so many levels of wrong. Let's start for 1 that they make you take your shoes off before you walk in the door. So where everyone is standing with snow and slush on their boots we are asked to remove our shoes there. Great, thanks! I love stepping in slush and then walking around for the next 1.5 hours like that. Then they usher everyone inside to warm up and properly stretch and explain the rules. That is great right? Wrong. 100% French. They didn't once ask "Do we need to do it in both languages?" or "Can we repeat anything in English". This isn't normally a problem other than the fact that we are talking about CHILDREN'S SAFETY and they should be told how to keep safe in BOTH languages. It's not like I am asking them to repeat in Chinese, Greek, or Italian. Then the place is horribly laid out and one side of the gym is very dark. When you want to enter or exit one side of the gym you have to make your way across people running to try to walk or flip off of a wall. Why not put that at the END of the gym instead of at the entrance? They have a little ball pit and slide thing for children under 8 years old with a sign on it that says not to use unless there is an employee of the establishment there. No employee to be found. I was there with my kid making sure she didn't get hurt (not that I mind, its my job as a parent) but then these hoodlums OVER the age of 8 come bouncing in and no one is there to tell them they are too big or to stop being so aggressive. The price point for what it is isn't that bad. $10 per person for an hour and a half however I wouldn't go again because I just found the place dark, dreary, drab, and overall unsafe/badly laid out.

It is well organized- everyone has to remove their shoes at the entrance so the place does not get dirty (not all of these types of places enforce no shoes). There is a separate section for young children ages three and under, as well as a trampoline, padded mini soccer field, climbing wall, and lighted dance floor. My kids enjoy simply crawling through the tube tunnels, climbing up the net ladders, running through the alleyways or zipping down the slides. "Driving" the truck, "flying" the airplane, and rolling the giant exercise balls on the second level are favourite activities too. The best part is the large separate snack area they have set aside for their patrons -- kids always get hungry and thirsty, and it is nice to be able to bring in our own lunch to save money and maximize our play time. They also offer beverages and snacks at their cafe. Their nut-free policy definitely gives me piece of mind when bringing my peanut-allergic son here. It can get busy if daycare groups are visiting, but the last Tuesday morning (when adults get in free) we were here, it was quiet and we nearly had the place to ourselves. Admission isn't cheap and entry is $13 and $8 for my two kids, but the amenities available more than make up for it when we do occasionally drop in. Great place - we will be back.

For someone who has never jumped on a trampoline as a kid and goes on one for the first time as an cautious adult, this place would have been fun... if I chose a time with way less kids running around. The first time I went was on a Saturday, a little over an hour after they opened in February. Everything was clean and while there was a lot of children's birthday parties happening, there was still place to move around. And back then, if you didn't have your own socks with the grip at the bottom, you would have to go barefoot. The second time I went, it was a Friday afternoon at about 3 in August. Some patches of trampolines had a layer of dust on it. The places with carpet (almost everywhere else on the trampoline field) was moist... but at least they're selling traction socks now... for $3-5 a pair. From what I see, they still have a section of iSaute Brossard that hasn't finished being renovated yet. This place is a gymnast's amusement park with an American Ninja Warrior mini field, trampoline dodge ball field, the regular trampoline field, foam pits to jump into, trampoline wall slides (I don't recommend without socks, trampoline burns...), a trapeze into a foam pit, tightrope and board thing along with an under 6 section (where parents really should keep their under 6s in, for safety). I would go back again, but I would want to try the night time one where it's 13+

    Funtropolis - Bumper cars

Since it was pretty rainy the days we visited Montreal, we took the niece to one of her favorite…read morespots: Funtropolis! Was it "trop fun?" Definitely for the niece. For HOURS, and I mean it, HOURS of fun and distraction for the kids, they basically run around in various areas: multiple level maze, shooting area, laser area, bumper cars, and arcade. The only areas that are extra costs are the bumper cars (which needed an extra ticket) and the arcade (which needed tokens). Since the niece was a certain age, the bumper car ticket was free, but only 1 ride. Before entering, you do put away all your jackets and shoes, so make sure you do wear some comfy socks that you know can get dirty. The bumper cars was about a song length in duration (~3-4 minutes). The bumper cars basically spin around every minute to shuffle folks. Then there are two levers to move the car, one to spin and the other to go forward and back. The niece is 6 and she easily figured out the controllers by herself. You also must be at least 5 for this activity. We didn't get to go into the laser area but we did step into one area where you can kind of do a whack-a-mole type of activity where there are 6 stations for each person to tap on squares on the wall that light up. The shooting area is more like foam balls and think American Gladiators where they have stations where you can put in a foam ball and shoot people on the floor. There are several arcade like machines with shooting games, rides, etc. Nothing too big or time consuming but definitely can keep kids wanting to keep spending money. Try to divert them to the active games. The multi-floor maze was where we spent most of our time. There are obstacles, zip lines, slides, trampolines, etc. Now the trampolines are small and there is a sign that says only 1 person at a time....some kids and even adults do not read this sign. The niece kind of told one adult that only 1 person can go in and he rolled her eyes at her. Wow. Some people don't know about safety. Now let's talk about safety. There's really no one regulating the areas. So it's trust your child to make sure they're safe. Yes a lot of the areas are padded. But it was pretty much....go at your own risk. I saw many kids sniffling, coughing, etc. I just wore my mask the whole time and just sanitized the heck out of my hands as I cannot get sick! Overall, if you're a kid, it's super fun. I chased the niece all over the place. I was sweating up a storm. I did it for a fraction of the time she was running around. Also if you're wanting your kids to be tuckered out, this is the place. On our way home, she was just quiet. Yeah, it tired her out that much. Super fun, but wish they had more cleaning staff or ensuring areas are safe to go into. I wish they had people manning the trampolines and ensuring folks only stay in for a certain amount of time. I know the niece ended up jumping for more than necessary and there ended up a line behind her so we had to ask her to move on so others could go. Either way, good fun time. A little screaming sensory overload. It definitely will give you an idea if you want kids of not lol!

My 9 year old was invited to a birthday party at the Funtropolis on Saturday…read more The policy is all children must be accompanied by at least one adult, and someone cannot exit and re-enter. Party package is $270 + tax for 8 children and 2 adults, with possibility of paying for additional guests. Tables are reserved for 3 1/2 hours. For people wanting to host a fun birthday event, it is well worth it, if you can afford. Party groups are held on the mezzanine floor with lots of seating available. Although they sell basic snacks, food and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed to be brought in from outside. The place is huge with lots of different activities, including giant spider web, slides, bumper cars and 4D 5 minute movies that will keep kids of all ages occupied for hours and hours. Bumber cars (one-time ride) is included in the birthday package, and could also be purchased separately. Bumper car rides are $4 + tax each ride, or $12 + tax for 4 rides. It can be somewhat noisy, with all the screaming of excitement, and a good way to burn all that energy. The place, including the washroom, looks reasonably clean, but too crowded, in my opinion. The number of people should have been limited. This is a perfect breeding place to catch an infection. While the entrance was rigidly monitored, exit was a different story, as any adult(s) can leave with a child.
