I attended a bachelor party over the weekend in Montreal. We had Adriano helping us with the…read moredetails and bookings. For the most part the venues he had arranged and charged us for met our expectations. There was one critical issue that could not be overlooked and I wish to warn others of. He had helped us arrange bottle service at a night club that he advised that he was well connected with. All of the bottles had already been pre-paid with tax and tips included. This was correct, however when we ordered an additional bottle his connections and contacts at the club slapped on over priced extras (a bunch of redbulls and premium water) without asking us. This resulted in a bill that was $200.00 over the price of the additional bottle. We had only began to question this when the bill kept being changed over the course of a few minutes. When we wanted to dispute the bill, the servers and managers were nowhere to be found. We were counting on Adriano to bring us (as the tourists) to a venue that would not take advantage of us. He lead us to a tourist trap, I am going to suggest he did so with full knowledge. To be fair, other items he had offered met expectations but when we put the above to him and have not had a reasonable answer as to why he would put us in a tourist trap like this. I would have given four stars but removed two for this issue.

We hired Mkali Moments Events to plan and execute our 20th wedding anniversary celebration on July…read more5, 2025. After six months of planning and a contract totaling over $12,000, the event was unfortunately a major disappointment due to numerous unfulfilled promises and logistical failures. Here are just a few of the issues we encountered: The venue was not ready at the contracted start time. Lighting was not installed as agreed (no uplighting or string lights). Blue carpet was not delivered; a slippery fabric was substituted, and guests tripped over it. The dessert table was not set up by the vendor, and several paid-for items were missing, including custom desserts and fruit kebabs. The bartenders were not trained mixologists, and guests waited 30-45 minutes for drinks. The air conditioning was insufficient, and the bathrooms were not maintained throughout the night. Setup debris (wires, screws, zip ties) and cluttered equipment were left in visible guest areas. The business owner promised to be present during the event but was absent. We contacted the owner immediately after the event. She acknowledged many of the failures in writing and repeatedly promised a partial refund -- but after weeks of missed deadlines and delays, she never followed through. We have now filed a formal claim in small claims court to recover part of what we paid for undelivered services. We're sharing this review to help other clients make informed decisions. Our experience does not reflect professionalism or reliability, especially for once-in-a-lifetime events.
