With black, white, and deep purple colors it is quite eye catching. When walking through the hall the lights are a light purple catching the glimmer of the crystals that hang the entrance. Once inside a woman hanging through a hoop is pouring champagne for the guests. I am sure this is an extra but very cool to know it's an option. The International buffet was eclectic from Hunan dumplings to garlic shrimp and shish kabobs. The food was very tasty and decor nice. The only con was the dance floor was made of some sort of vinyl instead of wood which made it hard to flow. All in all really beautiful hall.

All of my invites were satisfied with the basic menu that La Sirene provided and offered. *Food* : The food was excellent, everyone including my wedding planner said she was impressed with the quality of the food it's price, we're talking high quality here, don't let yourself be impressed by the low price, it's really a great menu. The service was amazing, their team was impressively good, we had about 180 invites, and no complaints all : the team was fast, at a certain point in time on of the staff members wanted to change my platte because "he heard" that I wasn't satisfied, theses guys are amazing, I was more than satisfied. That was my experience, the Banquet La Sirène made our wedding day exceptional, in terms of price and service, to me this team and room is unbeatable. Not much of an area to hang out in or let the kids run loose. There's a bar in the lobby. Food was decent. Good soup, good salad but the main meal of pork tournedos was bland and forgettable. Pricing here is economic I understand but no reason to have a main meal to miss it's mark with such a limited menu. Our waitress was nice and helpful. Drinks from the bar was on-point.

One aspect to be considered is there accepility, despite the ram in front of the entrance, there no means to go to the first floor other than the service elevator which take you into the kitchen then the back stage of the hall to gain access to the gathering/ salon area.

Decorations do attempt to look nicer, especially the ceiling and chandeliers but the rest is as generic as they come. This may be mostly to avoid fancy floor decorations if your convention center is being used to provide a seminar or job fair. The on-site services are relatively nice, I actually really like their washrooms, always very clean, well presented with lots of room. Stairs are big and circular and their coat check is always fast and efficient. What sets me back is how ugly the carpets are and how every single event here has the most mediocre food ever! I don't think I've ever eaten anything here worth eating. Can I ask for some decent food for a change? It's a hard sell when across the street I can get the best pizza/pasta in Laval and have a bunch of good places to eat within 2-3 KM.

(Or just stopping for a night's sleep bfore driving on one of those highways.) Also, I didn't find the prices to be competitive either when pricing for my stay and we wound up sleeping somewhere nicer and in a better location and just came here for the event. But the event staff is good and the staff is very friendly. The bathrooms are also exceptionally clean.

However the service is good but the room I had could have been a bit cleaner. I should remember to tip at the end of my stay. ( which I did) . When leaving always leave some money on top of your pillow for the cleaners. Check out was easy.
