Absolutely best subs, best coffee, and best açaí bowls. Ordered through DoorDash. Do not know about ambiance or service but will definitely go inside and try it since the food was so good, hot and quick.

You can get a great meal, with awesome vegetarian and vegan options, too, and the vibe inside is totally 60s and chill. Food is fresh, cooked-to-order, and their fresh-ground coffee and tea selections are bomb. Got to chat for several minutes with the owner, and appreciated hearing about how he was bringing this vision of fresh-cooked whole meals to the people of Memphis, and ensuring that it is affordable. Do NOT sleep on this place!!!

I ordered the cherry bomb lemonade and found it to be addictive, so much that the wife stole it from me. Pineapple, fresh tart cherries, and limes are mixed into lemonade to make a cherry red concoction that you just want in a Popsicle form. Wife got the Celerabration - a celery based juice with Kale, citrus and ginger flavors that too made us not wanna put it down. Food was off the charts also - try the Grave-lox toasts, the avocado toasts, or the Memphis grits with one inch chunks of smoke ringed bbq pork on Gruyere cheese grits. Dang! That's all too not take away from the museum like retro artsy atmosphere. Trying to explain my T.B.O. (taste-bud orgasm) speechless!

It's a great conversational space where you can sit, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy something nourishing. I had the opportunity to visit during a Yelp Elite event, and it was great seeing the community come together to support a Black-owned business that clearly puts intention into what they serve. The owners and team were warm and welcoming, creating an atmosphere that feels more like a neighborhood gathering space than just a stop for a smoothie. I tried the Green Goddess smoothie, the charcoal lemonade, and the "Let's Groove" sandwich. The Green Goddess smoothie stood out not just for the flavor but for its purpose. Packed with leafy greens and fresh fruit, drinks like this are rich in antioxidants that help combat oxidative stress in the body. Ingredients like spinach and green fruits provide vitamins A, C, and phytonutrients that support immune health, energy, and overall wellness. It's refreshing, vibrant, and exactly the kind of drink you want when you're trying to fuel your body with something clean and nutrient-dense. The charcoal lemonade was interesting and balanced. The citrus brightness paired well with the subtle earthiness of the charcoal, creating something unique but still refreshing. Now the Let's Groove sandwich deserves some attention. This isn't just another turkey sandwich. The combination of sliced turkey and turkey bacon already brings savory depth, but what really elevates it is the citrus honey mustard. That sweet, tangy acidity cuts through the richness and ties everything together beautifully. Add in fresh tomato, Colby Jack cheese, and a toasted ciabatta roll and you get a sandwich that feels simple but thoughtfully composed. Another highlight is the value. Most items are priced around $10-$13, which is very reasonable for fresh ingredients and made-to-order food. Location is also a bonus. Groovy Gratitude is just minutes from Riverside, making it a great place to grab a smoothie, juice, or sandwich before heading out for a walk along the river. It would also be perfect for picking up picnic-friendly bites. Overall, Groovy Gratitude delivers on freshness, atmosphere, and community. Great food, clean ingredients, and a welcoming space make this a spot worth supporting

It was hands-down the biggest food success we've ever had! Owner, Kristie Jeffrey was a dream to work with: responsive, kind, knowledgeable and genuinely invested in helping us. The food exceeded every expectation. We intentionally ordered appetizers from IV for the entire party, (not just the vegans), with small signs that read: "For Everyone: It's Delicious AND Vegan." Even so, guests couldn't believe what they were eating. Meat-eaters and long time vegans kept double-checking with me that the food was truly vegan, and I (happily) spent the night sharing where it came from! Highlights: Dogs N' Blankets were FLAKY! To be clear: that's PASTRY with no butter and still perfect hours later* The potato skins with "bacon" "cheddar" and "sour cream" converted my dairy-loving, bacon and sausage-loving, picky husband, and he ignored the omnivore meals we selected from another caterer. Spinach dip, rice and vegetables were all deeply flavorful and comforting. The lasagna! For decades I've reproduced a vegetarian lasagna I learned from a friend who's a private chef in London, and after tasting IM's, I'm officially retired. The vegetables were rich, savory, and beautifully balanced, with a flavorful sauce that comes from the spices and vegetables themselves. *For anyone considering Imagine Vegan for catering, a small but helpful tip: when you bring home items that lose texture with steam (like pastries or potato skins) take them out of the foil containers immediately. Before guests arrived, we kept the skins and DN'Bs in our warmer (vents open-no moisture - or you can low-heat warm in the oven with the door slightly open) then later popped them on to platters that had been sitting on silicone warming mats. Dishes like lasagna, rice, vegetables, and dips hold beautifully in chafing dishes with steam. Everything we served looked and tasted as though it had just come out of Imagine Vegan's kitchen! Guests have complemented us on the food at our previous parties, but NEVER like this. They were shocked to be enjoying animal-product-free food THIS much, and excited to know that we have truly delicious, TRULY healthier Southern food options right here in Memphis. As a vegetarian, the comments made my day. PUT YOUR FAITH in Kristie and her team. They're all lovely and very professional. Kristie is particularly warm, thoughtful, and provides food that will genuinely impress.
