    Itemized receipt

I just had my front and back brakes replaced here two days ago as well as my rotors cut. I was quoted $175 for just front brakes and rotors and after dropping my car off they called me and said my rear brakes needed to be changed as well. They called back and told me it would be $489.99 to replace the front and back. To me that makes no sense considering the front was supposedly $175. After receiving an itemized receipt they added on $70 in labor for the front pads and $70 for the back pad. They also charged me $24 for the front rotors & $25 for the back rotors. Altogether they charge me $498.41. After receiving my car back I had oil all over the inside hood of my car on the cream colored felt. I had oil on the passenger door the passenger consul & the drivers door. I had to get cleaning wipes and scrub my car down in order to get all the oil off but you can still see little bits of where it previously was. If the mechanic that got the oil in my car would have just cleaned it at the time it would've been a lot easier to remove and I probably wouldn't even have realized it. My brakes are also making a funny noise every time I press on them. I will be taking my car back on Tuesday when they open and hopefully they will make it right. They were very friendly when I would speak with them on the phone and they were able to fit me in fairly quick for an appointment. As long as they fix the squeaking noise on my brakes I will be somewhat satisfied. My only complaint at that point would be the oil on my interior that they didn't clean up and the fact I was charged way more than the price I was given on the phone before taking my car there.

RTV and brand new OEM springs collapsed.

Got an exhaust out in truck. Best price around and great quality of work. Definitely would recommend.

My daughter's alternator stopped working. My husband used to be a mechanic, so he started…read moreresearching the job. We are 3.5 hours away and it requires removing AC lines to get to it, so we opt to take it to a shop. We take it to Christian Brothers to have it replaced. They quoted $2500 to do the job which my husband stated was very high. We called a different shop and asked for a quote. They quoted $1300. As we were discussing towing her car to the new shop, Christian Brothers, stated they would match the new quote. While we were suspicious about this, we accepted. They called the next day trying to say they were worried they would break the AC line removing it and wanted my husband to approve a $700 increase to the quote, just in case. Nope. He gave them multiple suggestions on how to remove it without breaking it and told them to call us if they did break it. They didn't end up breaking it. When we got the bill it had unapproved charges on it. They did remive them after we pointed them out. Fast forward 4 weeks later, her car starts acting like the alternator is failing again. We have it towed back to the shop. We only took back there since they did the previous work and it was under warranty. Now apparently the crank shaft is leaking on the serpentine belt causing it to slip. They quoted us $1000. We just got the bill and again it was more than the quoted price and not just a little bit, $500 more. If it wasn't for my husband's car knowledge my poor daughter would have been taken to the cleaners by this shop. I don't want anyone else to have to deal with this.
