Whole fried fish with a side of garlic butter, pickled onion and fresh tortillas.

We had a pretty perfect day here. Very relaxed atmosphere, toes in the sand, mango daiquiri in hand. Food was perfect and reasonable for beach front. We had the fried whole fish and a side of guacamole. I will visit again soon! Also very sweet dogs hanging around hoping for a bite. This was a plus for me.

Visited the water today. Practically felt like this place was the only place open. And I'm glad it was! Conveniently located next to the pier, easy access and this place is huge! Feels like a beach house. You can see thru the restaurant to the water, there's beach seating there's front beach area with sand with a outdoor brick oven pizza thing. Would be awesome to throw a party We had, for my first time in Mexico, seafood! And it was delicious! We spent about $40USD and was well worth the food. Got the mixed ceviche, grilled calamari and sea snail with garlic butter sauce.

Old Yucatan fishing villages are charming. Old Yucatan fish is not. At least flies are enjoying their meal.

What youre really paying for a view of the beach. This wont be a meal you remember, but its hard to…read moreargue that should go somewhere else in the this town, when everyone is getting the same seafood straight from the ocean that's next to them. I ended up here because my tour guide had this place scouted out for our celestun day trip. I wish I had more control over where I was going to eat, but thats what I get for not asking hard questions before we go on our trip. If you like the beach, then of course its beautiful scenery. The tables are actually in sand and the straw awnings covering you is the restaurant "interior". The Pina colada is mostly just coconut cream. Not much else flavor came from it. The mango daiquiri was ok as well, where it felt like a muted mango popsicle and that's it. I don't expect artisan mixologist here, but their drinks are a weak point. The crab empanadas are quite dense in breading. The crab is fresh, but it wasn't as flavorful as I would have expected. The mixed seafood cocktail was great! A bunch of fresh seafood is a thick tomato sauce that wasnt heartburn inducing. They could have used less pepper, but overall it was my favorite part of the meal. The shrimp mojo de Ajo was good, but they barely give you any shrimp. The bland rice and steamed veggies they serve soak up the extra mojo de Ajo sauce, but it's ultimately filler. Id say this was the biggest rip off I had portion wise. Our server was fine, but they were pretty spaced out for most of the meal. I had to walk over to him and flag him down since he wasn't paying attention to once we ended the meal. Im more upset that our tour guide thought this was a good place. Its OK if you choose the right things, but theres alot of mediocre items on the list. Id say order the seafood cocktail or try somewhere else.
