Bahía Todos Santos (Bay of all Saints) or Ensenada Bay was discovered in 1542 by an Portuguese explorer by the name Juan Rodriquez Cabrillo. This sheltered Bay has a deep water channel and lies just South of San Diego .
This deep water channel is ideal for large international shipping as well cruise ships traveling along the coast of Mexico. Migrating grey whales have been known to give birth just off the coast. Ensenada Bay is home to the Port of Ensenada, several marinas, Cruise Port Village, Naval Station, plus many business, hotels, restaurants and resorts.
