New to the area and were searching for a place to eat dinner. We were lucky and found Muelle 37! It's a cute seafood joint with a very friendly staff and delicious food options. My husband had the fish option with cilantro sauce and it had a great, fresh taste. The fish was huge too! Mixed with the rice and thick slices of bread plus salad is an excellent portion for a very hungry person or even two people. I had the shrimp tacos; they were really good. Served with thick slices of avocado as well as cilantro and chopped onions. I had 3 and couldn't finish my plate. Again, the portions are excellent and could easily be shared, especially if you have children with you. Overall, wonderful restaurant with healthy, delicious seafood options and that has a nice selections of beers as well. We went at 8pm on a Saturday and found the staff to be super attentive and sweet. Also, prices are great. We had two huge meals with the complimentary soup and chips for $20.00. Can't beat it. We are fans and will definitely be back!

Got here at 7:35 and was immediately seated. Now it's currently 8:48 and I haven't gotten my food. I will update when I get it. Okay food was received. Pictured below are the shrimp tacos. Food wasn't bad but wasn't great. At least not worth the hour wait. I've also come during lunch but didn't have to wait this long and still had the same , not bad but not great feeling. Maybe the rush got to the cooks and the servers but I hate waiting. Favorite part of my meal was the freshly sliced avocado to be honest. I also didn't like the fact that most of my sliced onion was served on one of my tacos... weird. Seemed very rushed. All in all they need more cooks or servers because they looked STRESSED!!!

First time here and good customer service and the price for my meal was amazing Willing to give it a try we all ate amazing

    Scaley burger

This may very well be the 5th time we come and the first time I'm very disappointed in the food. El Caldo de Mariscos (#5 large) was a bit old and I could tell cause the onions looked black and purple, the carrots did too, the waitress must've noticed cause when she saw them on a cup (I took them out) she took them right away so I don't have proof of that. My daughters burger was, very, very unappetizing, I don't blame her for not eating it. It was burned and greasy... that is bad on its own, but it also has some scales. See picture attached.

We came here for lunch. This was recommended to us by our co-workers. Very clean. By far the best seafood in the valley. Must try the grilled huachinango.

La Pesca is a locally owned and operated Mexican style restaurant specializing in seafood, but also…read morehas plenty of options for those who prefer something else. It is also apparently quite popular with locals, which is a good sign! The location is easy to find on the corner of W. University Drive and 6th Ave. by the railroad tracks. The building is old and has probably been repurposed multiple times. There are just a few spaces to park directly in front but there are more places to park on the east side. The food was wonderful. The ceviche was mounded high on the tostada, a little salty, but mild; I added some of the salsa provided it was excellent. The seafood soup was also delicious and chuck full of fresh fish and shrimp. The broth was a typical Mexican style, but not spicy. The cocktail sauce is also Mexican style. Do not expect the traditional American style cocktail sauce with horseradish. This sweeter, tomatoey Mexican style cocktail sauce is what most want here. They do have plenty of Tabasco sauce if you prefer that. The Mar y Tierra botana platter for 2 was enough to feed at least 3 or 4. It came loaded with fish, shrimp, and fajitas along with multiple sides. My son really enjoyed it ...even as leftovers the next day. There are a few Americanized aspects: the fish on the botana platter was lightly breaded with what I think was a cornmeal /flour mixture, Southern style, and had a good flavor. The French fries also had a great light crispy coating. The platter included a couple of other American sides: onion rings and hush puppies. All these on top of chips (totopos), beans, and garnished with fresh avocado... This is a popular place, and seating is limited. So if you go on a Friday night like we did, be prepared to wait to be seated, and wait a while for your food. There was also a pretty long take-out line. Once the food arrived we really enjoyed it, but there was a significant wait. I'd like to return on perhaps a Monday or Tuesday night. The décor is rustic with a beachy yet homey feel (because of the old building). I've been to classier and fancier looking places, but but I don't think anyone goes to La Pesca for the ambience. They go for the food, and it is good enough to wait for if you happen to arrive at a busy time.

Food: The seafood was incredibly fresh, seasoned perfectly, and packed with bold flavor. Every bite tasted like it was prepared with care. The sauces were rich without overpowering the natural flavor of the seafood, and the portions were generous. You definitely leave satisfied. Pro tip: I highly recommend ordering bottled water with your meal -- it pairs perfectly with the seasoning and keeps everything balanced while you enjoy the full flavor experience. Service: Ruby was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Our server checked on us consistently without being intrusive, and everything came out quickly and hot. Great customer service. Thanks Ruby! Ambiance: The atmosphere is lively, clean, and comfortable. It has that fun seafood-boil energy while still being relaxed enough to enjoy good conversation. It's a great spot for family dinners, friends' night out, or even a casual date night. Overall, Krab Kings delivers on flavor, service, and vibe. We'll definitely be back!
