We are doing the month long training program in July so I had spoken with them and was familiar with Parker and Haley. They were not annoyed by any of my questions and Parker was very helpful in correcting some troublesome behaviors before we had Bolt stay with them. She came back leaner and with a shinier coat than when we dropped her off. I'll be posting another update once we do the month long board and train program, but I can say they are very affordable. While $1500 is no small fee, most other board and train programs are that or more for only 2 weeks!! Bolt is a Great Pyrennes mix so she has quite the independent streak but we'll see what magic Parker and Haley can work in July. I cannot say enough about Southern Pro Kennel. Their location is convenient to downtown but far enough out that they have a large amount of land to work with the dogs on. Look for my updated review and if you need dog training/boarding look at Southern Pro Kennel.

Left my 2 dogs with them for Thanksgiving weekend 2018 (Wednesday night through Saturday…read moreafternoon). Both dogs are female, and as girls occasionally do they'll have a fight a couple of times a year for dominance. For this reason, we've always made sure the kennel places them in separate "runs". We usually board at a different kennel, but chose this one since they were the only one locally with availability for the weekend. When my wife dropped them off on Wednesday night, the girl who took them in WAS TOLD 3 TIMES to make sure they were separated. This did not happen. When I picked the dogs up on Saturday at 4:30 p.m., the smaller dog had a 1 inch long, 1/2 inch deep bleeding laceration below her left eye. The person who helped bring the dogs to the car did not mention this injury, and I only noticed it while in the car on the way home. I immediately took her to Animal Clinic East on Gunbarrel Road, who determined she needed stitches. Animal Clinic East is my usual boarding facility, and they were shocked that this kennel did not contact me about the injury. Moreover, Animal Clinic East called me 2 weeks ago because one of my dogs being boarded there fluffed her dog bed too much while trying to get comfortable and the stuffing came out. I found that call to be a bit of overkill, but to not be contacted by this particular kennel for an injury of this magnitude is outrageous. I intend to present them with the bill that I will receive from Animal Clinic East. There may be additional actions taken regarding their licensing as well. I'd NEVER recommend their "services" to anyone who loves their pet... Just got her back home. A $778.00 bill from the vet. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR PET!!!! It's not about the money, it's about being a good caretaker. I will do everything I can to put this place out of business even if it bankrupts me... Stay as far away from this vet office as possible. Our puppy has been sick over a week with worms…read moreand they were supposed to send off her worm test and call us back but never did or even call to see if she was doing better. She has been suffering over a week now and all they care about is how much money they can charge you. We had to pay them $206. For just a parvo test, worm test[which they never bothered to call us to give us the results]. They just sent us home with some random worm medicine for worms and now a week later they are coming out of her on her bed in the house. This place has causes us a nightmare and worst of all we are worried sick they didnt give her the right medication because shes not getting better The vet that treated her was Sheila Connelly and is was very clear she could care less. Im leaving this review so other dog and cat owners dont have to go through this and get 4 times overcharged.
