The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. We were out of town, with no one to be able to come get her and take her to the vets, Chrissy and Jeanette both volunteered to get her to the vet for us. Unfortunately, Sadie passed before anything could be done. Had it not been for the daily loving care Sadie was receiving, her distress would not have been noticed anywhere else. Chrissy and Jeannette jumped into immediate action, although the outcome was tragic. Jeannette called me and was so kind and compassionate. She volunteered to take Sadie's body to the vet for cremation. I cannot express enough how much, both Chrissy's and Jeannette's empathy and concern was appreciated.
