The Value for the ultra-low price in all of the above mentioned stores is amazing. The selection in TJ. Maxx and Marshalls, IHOP is always amazing. Also the UPS Store is frequented by a lot of people if some could just be more patient. Anthony's Italian Restaurant is still open and has doubled in size since it has opened and the prices are still lower than most places in the area. These are still so close by and we are always served by "P.G. Co. Customer Servants," if we live are lucky enough to still live in Bowie. Also the Mattress Store (that never seems to go out of business) not sure if that's the exact name, but it's always going, along with the IHOP. The selection in all of the stores here is exceptional and they are always clean as can be. I'm thrilled that I stayed in Bowie all of my life as a retired fed, and now use Lyft to get places often. Or all of them have a service option that's very close by. Perhaps sometimes it's not in the best interest of owners to keep a Mall in service, but this Mall has almost all of the "old stores and the parking is exceptional in the front" ~ especially. I would rate this as one of two top "smallest stores in the area".

3/19/21 A lot has changed since I lived in Rockville…read moreMaryland. I have seen new buildings get made in spots that were once parking spaces.  I will admit,  there were a lot of parking spaces. Barns&Nobles was the main attraction for this shopping area with Starbucks being an added bonus. People then traveled to other spots of this shopping center. Chick Fill-A was the newest building to be added before I moved to Virginia.  I never saw the grand opening, but I did try the chicken the next time I was in town. Last weekend I was back in Rockville area and saw the Barns&Nobles sign wasn't present.  I saw the Starbucks Coffee sign and started wondering if Barns&Nobles went out of business.  I did not notice that the business had moved to Congressional Plaza.  Why the move? Could be a number of reasons.   I remember when Montrose Crossing went by another name, but just like the name Berenstein Bears, it no longer exists.  I also don't remember the name it use to be called. My mom loved shopping at Marshlls for clothes and whatever else she could find. As a kid, I found shopping for clothing very boring.   Yes, most male kids and some females too found shopping for clothes boring.  Now I am left with memories from a time I would go shopping with my mom.  As the song goes, "you don't what you got till it's gone."  Yes, those were good times, even if I did not see it that way at the time.  Without the Barns&Nobles to headline the main attraction,  I think the decline for this shopping area will show up bigtime during the summertime of 2021. Did you know that it's just not possible to remove ink stain from cotton? With all the technology we have and all the product that are out there... there isn't a product that can do that? Than you Mr Husen...was it just luck that I happened in on their BoGo sale? The asian lady who works here has got it together, she can multi-task and she's good at what she does. When we scoured the shelves for the shirt I wanted and came up empty she said they could order it and ship it for free. How do you like that! Service with a smile, great quality product at a great price...gotta like it!

New stores have opened this year and others are coming soon. The center's sidewalks are lined with planters full of brightly colored flowers making it quite attractive. There is a small patio area between two of the stores with artificial grass providing some greenery. Replacing the a grocery store that relocated years ago is Sprouts, which features many organic and plant based foods. It has departments with produce, bakery items, a deli, meat and seafood, prepared meals to go, frozen foods, and pantry items. It also carries frozen crab cakes and a frozen pizza brand that were both rated "the best" in separate reviews. The crab cakes are Sprouts' own brand and the pizza is one I haven't found anywhere else. Much to my surprise a review of grocery stores rated Sprouts as number one. Also open in the shopping center are a new TJ Maxx, Ulta, and Moby Dick Kabobs. Planned businesses include a Domain Fitness, an Eggspectation restaurant. and a bank, among others. Burtonsville Crossing is located right off Columbia Pike and there is plenty of parking. I'm happy to see the area thriving again.

There is a selection of restaurants that are a mix of national chains (Chik-fil-A, Chipotle, Starbucks) along with some that seem to be more local. I took off a star because getting in and out of the parking lot can be a bear quite often due to the volume of people shopping there. There are limited exits and especially trying to get out from the Lowe's/Chic-Fil-A side of the complex can result in quite a wait to get out. Glad it's here for when the local merchants further into the city don't have what I was looking for.

First off kudos to the developer for a completely new design. My guess is the next door luxury townhouses that sell for close to a million each, had considerable influence on this. I'm still trying to figure out the ugly modern art deco crap clock across the street. My best guess is underneath that is it is a phone tower for cell companies. There are plenty of parking spots here. Also entering and exiting, while still entertaining, have been improved upon. The Celebrity Delly, yes that's how it's spelled, is a phenomenal restaurant. It is a favorite of mine. Yet the Subway next door isn't all that impressive, or the McDonald's and Exxon. There is a decent haircut spot for my son. Giant here is huge! This could be one of their biggest grocery stores in the chain. I'll revisit this as I hope more is planned. Until then it's average to me, but I do appreciate the new look. That's a step in the right direction.

Now, if you feel the need to get some hair off your chest. Or you want to get a manicure and pedicure, look no farther than Mavana Nails. I have experienced great service here many times on my hands and feet. Need a barbershop Graham Park Plaza has what you need. The barbershop is nearly run by an all female team. The hair results are outstanding for the males and females that visit the shop. I was there last Friday and Maria did a fantastic job. If you like Pho Soup, Spanish Food or need new cell phone, Graham Park Plaza's got your back. Graham is undergoing a new area of residency. Many people will intrested in living in this new Graham Park Community. The new community use to have other shops and a movie theater, but it wasn't making a whole lot of money. This new development will be fun to watch and see how things go from here on out. In the meantime, I will continue visiting Graham Park Plaza to do my grocery shopping and male personal grooming habits. Oh, and for years now at Graham Park Plaza, you can but fireworks a week on advance before 4th Of July and a week afterwards too.
