What an amazing local breakfast place! Simple - quick - friendly - nostalgic I got the Bacon and Cheese Omelette and my husband got the Mud Pile. It was delicious! Our waitress was so friendly and the food came out really quick. Our total was so reasonable for 2 meals and 2 drinks - We will most definitely be back.

What I want to do is leave 1 star so locals and tourists don't flood it. I've wanted to come here for years and just never made it. Had about a 10 minute wait for a table-no problem. It's like a mini thrift store up front so that kept us occupied. Food was dynamite and so reasonably priced. There were people that had to wait for their tab so if you're in a hurry this isn't the place but it is now dubbed as my new favorite breakfast in rapid. The eggs benny, hash browns and pearl sugar waffle were all incredible. It was a two person show with one gal serving literally ever single table and one dude cooking. Both were so friendly it doesn't make me want to support any other breakfast place in town. Will be back a million more times read more

Unique atmosphere for sure. Other reviews brought us here and we were not disappointed, a sign of a good place is the number of "local" vehicles parked there when you pull up. The people were very nice, service was quick...and the food was EXCELLENT! Husband had the Mud Bog with sausage and loved it! I had the breakfast burrito and it was also good, only complaint was that I couldn't finish it- no worries though as hubby did Definitely worth your time to stop in and eat breakfast!! read more

Trying this place was one of my better decisions. The interior reminded me of going to grandma's house(maybe a little more "cluttered "!). I had the Mud Bog w/sausage patty. Is this a real restaurant? I think they're just trying to make money to pay for their hoard storage. If I went to my friend's house and they served this food, I would tell them I ate somewhere else, then go eat somewhere else. I've never seen a microwave so much at the center of a working kitchen that charges for food. My kids can cook better than this. read more

Been traveling across the states and by far the best breakfast. You have to get the biscuits and gravy, or if you're not adventurous get it on the side.
