Don't answer your doors in Ames ladies if you see this company. I'll be calling the insurance company as well. We don't need high pressure/urgency sales anymore with elderly. Learn better manners. They entire team excels in its communications; from scheduling work to project updates to suggestions for future maintenance, Action Roofing is the gold standard. Even better, their work always is superb. I appreciate that Action Roofing provides pictures of their work to allow the homeowner to fully understand the issue(s) and how they've been addressed. I also appreciate that they've never tried to up-sell me and spend more money than necessary. The last time I worked with them, I went into the job thinking that I'd need a new roof. While Albert told me they could do this, he simply suggested a roof tune-up based upon his initial visit and noted that a replacement wouldn't be necessary for at least three years. Because of their outstanding communication, professionalism, and integrity, Action Roofing has earned my business long-term. When the time comes in a few years, they'll be number one on my list for that roof replacement.

UPDATE: Changed rating from 1 to 4. Rebel did call me after I posted this review. Seems one of his staff may have not been the model employee as his resume proclaimed. Let's leave it at that. Rebel is trying to make my order 'right'. EARLIER: Paid a deposit in July for two patio doors. Was told "three weeks" to make the doors then would be put on the install schedule. Three weeks later, "the doors are here and there are eight installs ahead of you". A week later, 'doors are not here because they didn't have the locks for them'. ?? Where'd they go from being 'here' a week earlier? Since then, the only contact has been from me calling them (one way) and being told, nope, locks not in yet - locks not in yet. After three months of 'not in yet' I said if I can't speak to Rebel in the next three days I want my money back. Well guess what? Again, no calls, no updates, only excuses. Now been waiting more than three weeks for the refund. "She sent it in the mail" and I'll personally drop of a check by Friday afternoon". Guess what? No check, no calls, only more excuses, "I didn't get the chance to make it there and I'm stuck out of town on a sales call." Un-huh. Next step - and it's not like they haven't been warned - civil suit will be drawn up by my attorney. I get it, some delays are unavoidable. But the radio-silence from All American is far from what I consider good customer service. And the willful withholding of my deposit being return only leads to this review.
