I really love coming here. The quesabirria tacos are excellent and I couldn't recommend the guacamole more.

It was a little confusing initially because there's a walk up register to order, so I thought I'd order up there when I was ready, but when I sat down to wait for a friend, I got waited on. So I guess both things are true. You get free chips and salsa at the table, which is always great, and I want to give a shoutout to having additional salsas in squeezable bottles at the table you can add to your liking to your food. Yum!

You know how sometimes meats can be a bit bland. Not here. They really nail the taste and tenderness and the people working there, Just lovely. The waiter and the lady at the register were both super friendly and welcoming, which always makes for a great experience. Okay, onto the specifics, I started with a burrito de asada, and seriously, it was perfect. It was put together so nicely, packed full, and they even included rice inside, which was a delicious surprise. Super satisfying and felt like great value for the price. Then I branched out and tried a couple of their gorditas one with steak and another with chorizo. Again, both meats were incredibly tasty and really well prepared. Now, a little heads up, their gorditas are a bit unique. Instead of the usual pouch you stuff, they cut the entire top off, so it's more like an open faced sandwich. It was different, but honestly, it was still super delicious and easy to eat. We also shared a taco dinner, and those were fantastic too. The prices overall are really reasonable, especially for the quality you're getting. Oh, and you absolutely must try their horchata, it's seriously good and so refreshing. The place itself is pretty chill. They have a TV on, and it was generally quiet, which is nice for a relaxed meal. It's not a huge spot, with a few tables and booths, but what really caught my eye was how many people were coming in for takeout orders. That's always a good sign that it's a popular local favorite. Honestly, if you're ever looking for a top notch taco shop nearby, this one is probably one of the best I've encountered. You definitely won't be disappointed.

They had a wide variety of tacos flavors from classics to signature flavors. They also had 5 veggie options! My husband and I knew we had to order their new "soft serve margarita". They had strawberry, mango, or swirl flavors. We got the swirl and it was presented with a Tajin rim and fruit garnish. Although it lists it had alcohol in it, it definitely just tasted like ice cream. Still delicious! For food, I got 2 ground beef tacos and the Chili Potato taco. I loved the ground beef flavor but the chili potato was a bit spicy for me. My husband got the Signature, Birria, and Chicken Tikka tacos. The Signature was by far his favorite followed by the Birria. The Chicken Tikka taco was ok. We arrived when there was a lull in busyness but staff seemed a bit flustered. We had to correct the woman working the cash register twice as she was punching in the wrong flavors. When our food came, we were offered the wrong order twice as well as I got the wrong toppings on mine. One gentleman was quick to step in and correct the situation. We got our correct orders and they gave the two wrong tacos to us complimentary. Overall, this is a great fast casual Mexican spot. I like that you can visit multiple times and still have new items to try.

Sautéed onions and peppers topped with cheese. You could get steak or chicken. My boyfriend and I both got steak. They were amazing! The steak was so tasty! They were also topped with bacon, which was surprisingly good. I wish I would have taken a picture last night but this is my one left over taco. I topped it with their green salsa (also delicious). The staff is all friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back!

I loved the painted mural, patterned tiling, and feature lights. My husband and I visited to enjoy their Mix & Match Taco special on Tuesdays. We tried all four of the tacos apart of the special and thoroughly enjoyed the flavor. The favorite by far was the Al Pastor followed by the Carne Asada & Tacos Americanos. The taco shells seem freshly pressed and we both enjoyed the corn over flour. The complimentary chips and salsa were definitely a medium heat but chips are served fresh and hot. Their regular prices are a bit of a premium but food is good quality and portions. I would certainly come back to try more of their offerings in the future! Essentially I personally base it on the likelihood of a return visit and I try to be stingy with 5 star reviews since they should be "special" in my eyes. Our server, Am B, was friendly and attentive. When we had issues with our food, she handled it well and even brought us two shots as a nice gesture for the inconvenience. Manager Miguel was especially outstanding -- he came over right away the first time, stayed positive and helpful when we sent the food back a second time, and was happy to remove the problematic items from our bill. The whole staff was super nice and made us feel taken care of. Unfortunately, the food did not match the service. I ordered the ground beef taco dinner. The first plate came out cold, so I sent it back. The second attempt still lacked flavor -- the rice and taco I ate both times were bland. For a Mexican restaurant, it was disappointing, especially when compared to places like Chipotle that deliver hotter and tastier food for half the price point. My son ordered the steak burrito bowl, and his first one was also cold (not even warm). He didn't enjoy it either. Overall, the hospitality was 5 stars, but the food was not worth the stop. We appreciated how the staff made it right, but I probably wouldn't return for the food. I'd recommend going if you're in the area and prioritize friendly service, but temper your expectations on the meal itself.

You know, hubby and I have known about this restaurant since we moved to Schaumburg 2 1/2 years…read moreago, but besides pierogies, we really had no idea what Polish food was all about. It was time to try. We expected a bit of a hole in the wall and that's not what we found - we found a very nicely decorated and maintained restaurant with a lot of dark wood overtones - we were seated immediately and given an extensive menu. I ordered a Polish beer, and we ordered a Polish plate - kind of a combination sampler plate if you will - and a ground pork cutlet dinner. Now before we could say anything? Some bread showed up with a lovely but lightly flavored hummus type spread- we enjoyed it because it also came with a nice big half sized pickle. When the Polish plate came? OMG we had sauerkraut - we had sausage - we had some pierogies, and when the pork cutlet came out? It literally covered the entire plate and was resting on a bed of freshly mashed potatoes. We shared the Polish plate and we shared the extremely large pork cutlet. Now to be fair? We loved the Polish plate immensely - while the cutlet was nicely breaded, and the mashed potatoes were great? I'm not certain I could say that about the pork cutlet. There was nothing wrong with it. I think the flavor was fine, but it was not something that I would order again. It just wasn't my taste that's all. So would we come again? Yes. Yes we would!
