Jenny was there for us at every venue tour and every vendor meeting to support and guide us through the complex and sometimes overwhelming process of planning a modern wedding. She even sent a beautiful gift to our house on our originally planned wedding date to cheer us up! Her hard work and support didn't end on the day of our wedding, as she and her team made sure our wedding was as special and as memorable as possible. I would usually see the same entertainers in children's party and I realized that I've never seen a magician at any of them. Booking was easy via email and his prices/packages are listed on the website. I had about 15-20 kids at my party and he did such an AMAZING job entertaining both children and adults! I went with 45 min magic show, 20 min balloon twist, and 20 min bubble show. Even though it was raining that day, Dave was very accommodating and communicated with me the different options for a bubble show in case he can't do it outside. He still made it happen and the kids had so much fun popping gigantic bubbles in the rain. I also appreciated how Dave's magic show was age appropriate with the smaller kids but still catered to the adults with a few magic tricks. I can't recommend him enough to other parents who are looking for a party entertainer. Thank you Dave for a memorable party!

We needed to rent tables, chairs, and 2 different size pipe & drapes for our tea ceremony. I called the company on July 12 because their website was a little confusing. I didn't know where to write what size pipe and drape we wanted. The person who answered the phone just said "Hello?" so I wasn't sure if I was calling the right place at first. I asked if it was One Call Events, and they said yes. I asked my question, and they told me to request a quote via email. I wrote out and sent the email to them immediately after I hung up with them. I provided links to the items I wanted to rent along with how many of each, as well as measurements for the pipe & drapes I wanted. I also provided the date of delivery, date of the event, and date of pickup. I didn't hear back, so I called them one week later on July 19. The woman who answered said she had read my email and would reply with a quote in the next one to two days. I waited, and still no reply. I finally sent another email on July 24 to follow up on my quote request. I received a reply back exactly 30 minutes later asking for the delivery/pickup dates that I needed (I had included it in the original email) and if we needed linens as well. I wrote back to let them know the delivery/pickup dates and that we do not need linens. I did receive a response to my email. I finally called once again on 7/26 and spoke to a woman who remembered my name and my email, and she pulled it up while I was on the phone. She told me that they were out of the white chiavari chairs and only had gold & clear left. I said clear chairs. Shortly after I finally received the quote. It only took 2 weeks, 3 phone calls, and 2 emails. I might have gone with this rental company, however based on how unprofessional they were when I was only requesting a quote, I took my business elsewhere. How can I trust them to actually show up and deliver the rented items if they can't even get me a quote without me calling and emailing them multiple times? The company I went with literally responded the very next day after I requested a quote, and even called me beforehand to double check some of the details regarding the dimensions of the pipe & drapes. Not only that, they had the chairs I wanted: SILVER chiavari chairs!! I didn't want white, I only settled because One Call Events doesn't carry silver. AND the other company is cheaper by about $258. Bottom line, DON'T GO WITH ONE CALL EVENTS!!

When you hire a company for an event as important as a wedding, you expect the absolute best from your vendors. To clarify, the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because yes the set up was beautiful and we had no problem with the guys that came to physically put up the rental tents. They were great, they worked really hard, this is not about them. This is specifically towards Darlene, the company coordinator/manager/owner. Darlene was quick to respond when it came to taking your money. But after the payment was made, she went MIA. She wouldn't answer several calls and texts for days. "Sorry we are really busy", no that's no excuse to not be available to a paid client especially when there are issues/questions. The day before the event, instead of showing face and apologizing for the bad communication she sends her young attitude-filled teenage daughter instead to coordinate the guys setting up. We paid for the tents with fabric, wedding chairs, table runners etc and guess what? The wedding chair cushions were DIRTY. I bring this to the attention of Darlene's daughter and she very dismissively says, "I'll bring some more tomorrow". Fine, as long as they are replaced. Darlene's daughter leaves before the set up is complete, and we realize that they did not bring the table runners. We call and text Miss teenage attitude, no answer. The set up guys claim "maybe this fabric left behind is supposed to be the table runner", but after inspecting it we realize the dirty and torn fabric is actually for the tents not the tables. Again, tried to contact Darlene to advise her that our items are missing. No answer. She finally calls the day of the wedding and claims the fabric is the table runner. No it isn't! The fabric was clearly for the tents not the tables. And she says they will not be coming back to replace the dirty seat cushions. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! She did reimburse for the missing/dirty items but that doesn't change the fact that the items were delivered like that, terrible service and that the communication was almost zero. You can imagine how this made the bride feel on her big day. I do NOT recommend this company, they will give you a headache, stress, anxiety over bad communication and deliver dirty items.. or just not deliver some items altogether! Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else.

Kai and his partner.. forgot her name, sounds like Alicia, arrived on time and from start to finish did an absolutely amazing job to keep the kids engaged and entertained.     Ohmygawd, where to begin…read more.. Your kid's birthday is a huge deal, especially when they're little. The stress of getting EVERYTHING right - and EVERYONE to show up! - can be overwhelming. After all, your child's entire future happiness is at stake, right?! Deep breath. Here's our step by step experience with "Happy" Days Entertainment: 1) This year for our little girl's 5th birthday we decided to do something different and rent a location for two hours. The place was awesome, an indoor playground with tons of cool stuff to do. Not so cool, we had to use their outside vendor to hire a princess character. 2) In the past we had two amazing experiences with another vendor (not sure I can name them here so I will post a positive review on them later - check my reviews to find out who they are). Needless to say, we were bummed (and NERVOUS) to use a new vendor. 3) Having said that, our little one wanted to invite Moana and while our preferred vendor didn't have a Moana performer available Happy Days did! Not only that, the picture of the Moana on their website looked awesome AND when my wife called Happy Days the owner (!) GUARANTEED that it would be the same performer as the one on the website! Not. Quite. 4) The lady who showed up - bless her heart - looked quite a bit older than the one in the picture and while the online Moana had natural black curly hair, the one who showed up was wearing a horrible wig that looked so fake even the kids called her on it. To make matters worse, she wasn't playful and engaging at all. Very reserved and low energy! In the movie Moana is adventurous and full of zest! For the money we paid I expect someone who doesn't just look like the character (which she didn't) but who's IN character as well. It's LA for crying out loud! Oh, and she didn't sing any of the Moana songs (we were told she would). And when I asked her at the end if she could do individual pictures with each kid (about 10 girlies) she blankly pointed out IN FRONT OF the birthday girl that she was already 5 minutes over time. She also said most kids usually don't want a picture (ooooh-kay). Still, I ALMOST felt bad for her, she literally seemed awkward and uncomfortable around the kids. Like someone had stuck her in a Hawaiian skirt and a cheap wig and said go show up at this place for an hour and make balloon animals. 5) But more than the performer, my wife and I felt terrible for our little girl. She LOVES Moana and was SUPER excited to see her. When I told her that her special guest had arrived she yelped and darted into the lobby... where she literally stopped short, stunned to meet this person who was clearly NOT the real Moana awkwardly and timidly greeting her to the sound of parent hearts breaking. 6) Final thoughts... We have called Happy Days several times but our calls have been ignored. It's been 3 weeks. So instead of trying to somehow rectify the situation, I'm writing this review. By the way, even the two young ladies who worked the place (and who were incredibly sweet and helpful) said they were shocked when they saw the performer walk in. And in case someone from Happy Days is reading this review... We weren't going to ask for our money back. We were going to suggest that you send the Moana performer you had promised us to show up for a complimentary hour and play with our girl in the park, saying she's so sorry she couldn't make the party but Maui had stolen her boat or Heihei was sick (Heihei is the rooster, look it up). I wish I had kinder things to say about the performer. I think she tried but just wasn't right for the part. I do blame Happy Days for A) breaking their promise to send the Moana they feature on their website (#falseadvertising), and B) for badly mis-casting the character, and C) not getting back to us after the event to discuss what had happened. Hope this review helps others in planning their event. You're welcome! (get it?) SHOCKING UPDATE: We just realized the Moana princess picture Happy Days Entertainment uses on their website is a STOCK PHOTO (!!!) you can find on many other sites including costume DIY and Moana cosplay sites. So the performer the owner had promised to send isn't even an employee at his company!
