Previously, I had purchased everything for my young child at this little shop when she started ridding lessons a few years ago and spent a significant amount of money.... Three stars is in all honesty, is pretty generous here.....for a few reasons unfortunately.... Still like this place, great consignment items and I like to support a small family owned businesses. But I pretty much came across an ice Queen who was working there last week and it seemed like she could have cared less if she had my business or not; which was pretty unfortunate.... Not sure of her name but she was an older woman and she did not seem happy to be there. No greeting. No offer to help me find anything. I had to ask on my own and little effort was put forward to help me and zero effort was made to make me feel welcome. I kind of have a feeling if she didn't know you and you weren't a regular customer, she could have cared less about you....Unfortunately, this is something we come across quite often in the equestrian world, it can be pretty darn clicky.... One other thing, a lot of the items that are on consignment were absolutely filthy. I'm talking years of built up horse hair, grease and dirt.. .I suggest making people wash things first before accepting them in your store for consignment. Selling used boots with crusty horse crap on the bottom of them for over a 100 bucks? I just can't go there.... I also know times are hard for all of us. It's hard to make a living, especially as a business owner. But have a little more pride you know- dust your shop, clean up the merch, at least greet your customers! I hope this review helps and I hope I can come in again and see improvement.....

I spent days researching online and was ready to order everything, but I'm so glad I decided to come in person instead. I walked out of Mary's literally smiling like I just had my first kiss and blushing because I looked so good in my new riding outfit. I ended up spending about $1,000 on a pair of boots, two pairs of pants, and a top, and every single item was top-tier in quality. The fit, the feel, everything was just right. I cannot thank Jennifer enough. She helped me for nearly two hours, patiently guiding me through trying on at least five pairs of boots and almost ten outfits. She was so kind, so patient, and genuinely cared about making sure everything fit perfectly. She didn't rush me and even switched out boots just to double-check the fit. I've truly never experienced service like that in any industry. I hugged her multiple times because I was that grateful. She made me feel confident and taken care of in a way I'll never forget. Sizing varies so much between brands. I wear a large in sports bras but ended up in an extra small top from one brand, so coming in person is a must. If you're new to riding or coming back like me, skip the online guessing and come here. The options are endless, the service is next level, and the experience is unforgettable. I had driven down with my English saddle already and didn't want to spend a lot to meet this request so I could ride. I ended up calling Mary's Tack, who referred me to Bits Equestrian Outlet. Luckily I could go on a Wednesday when they would be open. I was shown the breast collars available and did my best guess for the one that might work. For $30 it seemed a great deal. I made my purchase and hoped fir the best. It ended up being absolutely perfect. Good fit and it went well with my over 50 year old saddle. I really love that I could find what I needed in time. Prices were amazing and for being open only a week their inventory was great including lots of different items: jewelry, clothing, tack, wallets, etc....we will be back. Didn't bring any help and we thought for that price we would get an assembled end product. Instead we had to unload ourselves and worse part is the guy ran over our dog with his trailer. He said sorry I didn't see him. Never in my life have I felt such pain and now we have a pile of crap sitting in our yard that reminds me how much I HATE this company! Beware!!!! Don't buy!!!! If you do hide your animals. The picture posted is the dog he ran over. We had him for over 15 years. Our hearts are broken and all we got was 4 panels, a gate and 6 pieces of plywood.
