Hardly ride subway anymore but when I do, 36th Street is my transfer hub to the D train. The only…read moreother reason to stop here is to visit Industry City. Expect a busy platform due to the above reasons. The one star is for how filthy and unkempt this station is: it's a disconnect considering all the overtime transit workers put in and thus us the end result. It's insulting to all passengers to ride the subways and endure unsanitary conditions especially with a pandemic going on. I do not expect any improvements from the Governor or next Mayor. The only person who understood our Metro system was Andy Byford. New Yorkers deserve better than this.

Two stars because our drivers have always been on time and the rates are good. But these guys kinda…read moresuck if you don't plan to use cash. I've used them for airport rides three times since they left a flyer at my building last year. The first time, we got all the way to the airport before we learned the driver had no way of taking anything but cash. Their flyer says they take credit cards, and so does the recording that plays when you call them. But apparently they haven't told their drivers that. The driver tried calling the service for help - maybe they could take our card info over the phone? They were completely unhelpful, didn't apologize to us, and actually hung up on our driver (who wasn't being rude). Ultimately my husband had to go in and spend like ten minutes looking for an ATM while I sat in the car getting the stink eye from TSA. The second time, I told dispatch specifically that I wanted to pay by card when I booked. That driver took card - probably just by chance, honestly. But it turns out that their advertised rates only apply if you pay cash - not something they disclose in their advertising or when you call them. The third time is the ride I'm taking right now. We didn't have a chance to get to the bank, so we again requested they make sure our driver could take card. They said sure. Our driver arrived, we asked whether he could take card...and nope. Luckily we weren't running late so we were able to have him stop at the bank. But the complete lack of customer service or communication with their drivers is ridiculous at this point, so we'll be looking for a different car service or sticking to public transit.
